There needs to be a hardcoe Mode.

The one thing I really loved about Fallout: New Vegas was the fact that they added a hardcoe Mode. Just in case for those who don't know it (if any), it's a mode where you have to eat, drink, and sleep to survive in the wasteland.

I know Bethesda didn't make New Vegas, but I was a little bit disappointed that they put emphasis on growing food and collecting water, but restricting it only to settlements and not being a sign of players being affected.

I know that not so many people really used the mode, but I was hoping that Bethesda would have added it for people who did like it. And it isn't as if people would be forced to use it, as it was a choice to have it on or off.

And with a world as full and plentiful as Fallout 4, it wouldn't be hard to find food or water or even beds. And it would give you a choice to turn it on or keep it off just before you leave Vault 111.

I'm actually really glad that Bethesda is still updating the game with patches and new little additions or changes to gameplay. If possible, perhaps they could add it in in a later patch?

I would have suggested an "Alternate Start" mode, but I figured that should stay in the mods.

??

There is a hardcoe Mode.....otherwise known as 'your choices'.

Of course, you could have simply posted on the other 64 topics about this.

I'm only saying yes to a hardcoe if it's vastly improved over what New Vegas offered and Bethesda realizes that those far to fixable needs and 'hardcoe' are antonyms, not synonyms.

The hardcoe mode in New Vegas was pointless in New Vegas. Just sleep, eat, and drink every 2 days. Now if it actually affected your movement so you can't run as quickly or shoot as well, then it would be more reasonable.

There are other hardcoe mods that make the game more difficult, but water, sleep, and food are not part of them.

Yes, I also think those basic need does fit into Fallout setting. Much more than the "survival" mode that is in the game currently ... :(

And why it should be the same person asking for this ? :P
