I've tried it, heheh. It is compatible with Dark UI, the original by Dark Birdy. SCORE!!!!! (It is also compatible with three or four other UI revamps.)

DarkBirdy's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.Detail&id=162 mod is much simpler. I use it with http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4109. They are not completely compatible, but the edit necessary to fix it is minor. (You could PM me if necessary.)

Edit: mod

From the Dark UI Readme:

Immersive Interface (by Harfleur): This is one of the most thorough reworkings of the Oblivion HUD (those elements present on the screen while all menus are closed.) It is highly configurable, and keeps the onscreen clutter to a minimum. It works great with Dark UI as long as you install it last. It is my own choice for a HUD. The one thing it changes is the background at the very bottom of the menus.

To fix it, install Immersive Interface,
then open up Data\menus\prefabs\ui_config\humainmenu_config.xml in notepad.
Find the line that reads: Menus\HUD\hud_back.dds and
change it to: Textures\Darkui\Menus\HUD\hud_backdui.dds

Hmmm...I have not played that mod in a long time, and I happen to be away from my computer right now, but I will try. Just in case you need to post in the Enhanced Economy (EE) thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1077019-relz-enhanced-economy/page__hl__Enhanced%20Economy. I am going to remote log in tome my computer and check out the ReadMe. Could you http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/walkthroughs/posting-your-load-order after sorting it with EE in it?

Edit: What is the exact problem you are having?

Aaah, that is probably a compatibility issue between the UI mods and EE. DarnUI is popular and very similar to Dark UI, so I would be surprised if there was not a solution for this. OOOh, you probably have EE's auto-haggle turned on. You can turn that off in the EE INI in the Data folder. I will look into the "R" button thing. Do you use the "R" button as a control? For example, it is my jump button.

Edit: I just checked out the archive, and it definitely conflicts with Dark UI (and other UI mods too.) You need to install the EE menu on top. That should fix the problem. If it removes the Dark UI textures, I will report the issue in the EE thread (or you can.) Those mods are too popular not to be supported by EE, in my book, anyway.

It looks like everything should be fine as long as EE's menu file is installed last. I am going to make a BAIN archive for the file to override my user interface mods. This was a nice heads up for me too, thanks. ;)

I just put in the ui mod, the ee was a problem for 3 days now.

r is used, set my keys to be similar to fallout, so it is my weapon key while f is the view toggle

and how do I install it on top? dark ui isnt a mod, no esp?

and when you do that to bain, would you be willing to tell me the manual way, my head wraps around puzzles I see better than ones in the background

I will turn off the autohaggle and test in real quick, after the ui fix

Sure. First of all, this problem only matters if you use EE's auto-haggle. If you use it, then you need to make sure its menu file is the one installed. To manually install it, extract the EE folder somewhere. The file you need is located in the "01 Auto Haggle Menus" folder. Take the "Menus" folder out of that folder and put it in the Data folder. When prompted to override (and you should be) say yes.

Edit: If you do not want the auto-haggle feature, turn it off in the INI file and reinstall Dark UI's menus.

The conflicting is "Menus\negotiate_menu.xml" if you decide to put Dark UI's back in the future.

I will turn off auto haggle, there are several pricing guides, one for ooo, one for fran, one for mmm... but non for the combinations of them, should I use any of the pricing guides?

I prefer Creepy Fellow's prices.

To turn off auto haggle set "tnoEE.autoHaggle" to 0.

Edit: Do not forget to reinstall Dark UI's menu file if you turn off auto-haggle.

If you keep auto haggle just copy EE's negotiation menu file on top of whatever is already there. Either way, your problems should be resolved. Oh, I forgot to mention that you turn off the auto haggle in the EE INI file in the data folder. That is where that "set" to line comes from.
