A difficulty slider with more options that lets you control character health/damage as well as enemy health/damage so that I can make the game more difficult without making it more tedious as a side affect.

High damage low health for everyone.

Improved horses (animation) with the ability to interact with them more. I'd like options for tack & saddle bags, a stable, and horse commands. If I can cast spells from horsebask and engage in mounted combat, I'll be happy.

But unless someone has some information I haven't read...

...we'll be lucky if we get them at all. Anyone hear "yay or neigh" on this one yet? :whisper:

this is basically the same thread as
http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1170361-whats-the-single-most-important-thing-you-want-in-skyrim/

which is still active and on the first page.

So you're going to every thread and posting this? Because pretty much every thread is a repeat of another one.

I would go for Dx11 support; everything else can be modded in.

I would include a item naming feature. I wanna be able to name my own weapons, armor, potions and spells.

hmm, i wuld say, getting drunk, havent really seen any games implementing a good drunken fun sim.....thingy, wuldent it be fun when you get drunk and tumble around town randomly swearing at people, and if you get to close to a sweet female argonian, well, give her a swing about, resulting in a red cheek maybe, and when your stamina runs out, maybe after 4 mins, you daze out on the street, and wake up in prison, acused of pissing on the guard and yelling at him "STAND STILL YOU DAMN LIGHTPOST". hmm, sounds like friday

A good story with deep dialogue and a lotta choices that make a difference in what's happening. Memorable characters that help me as companions (by companions I don't mean the usual subordinate robot, I mean people with distinct personality, with initiative, who ask questions about what you're doing, have romance options and will leave you if they don't approve your deeds).

go play dragon age for starters and then go on to the elder scrolls skyrim when it comes out, ive heard rumors that its gonna be great

Bethesda seems to be doing almost everything right, so if I could add one thing it would be Morrowindesque travel services.

I would want them to put in alot of more unique items like morrowind there was barly any in oblivion and i would want them to make it harder to get full sets of stuff like in morrowind in oblivion everyone was item scaled to your level so once u were 20+ everyone had deadric which is stupid

A lot of the posters in this thread are listing more than one thing, or saying huge sweeping "things" that in practice mean more than one thing.

To implement the ability to add as many skills as I want via the Creation Kit! That way people who were content with the default skills would be happy and people like me who want hundreds of mundane miscellaneous skills would also be happy.

If you were able to go to the developers and they'd be able to implement one of your suggestions flawlessly or improve something likely already in the game, what would it be?

Cloth & Hair physics. :celebration:

Realistically though, deep and involved companions. I hope they improve over NV (which wasn't bad, just not as good as I would like).

I like the idea of unique weapons that were in Fallout 3/NV. Would be pretty cool to see something like that in Skyrim.
