If there is one thing you'd be able to implement in Skyrim..

I would like to be able to DESELECT the active quest. Sometimes, I want to take a break from my currently active quest and do something else, and it's really annoying to have that infernal red arrow on my compass. Really annoying.

Please give us the ability to manually clear the active quest and go back to it another time.

Climbing walls, cliffs, pillars, and trees to get to an advantageous position.

I'd settle for a solid pet system: train, load with books and ogre bits, race with summoned monsters after a cozy goblin family, slaughter brutally to train another.

A spell (in the Illusion school) that lets you fly the camera around outside your body, letting you scout ahead, get good bird's-eye-views, and so on.

Yeah good one! An out of body experience mode. Wasn't there one of these skills in "Prey"?

Having npc's seem intelligent and react to you and other npcs.

Please no Mr. Hoppy the Happy Bunny, I'll do anything! Just don't slay my family :ooo:

Parts of quests being timed. Ya know, the parts that tell me that I have a specific amount of time to do something should then go and follow through...and actually be timed.

I would like for the game to separate saves into folders for each character like the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games.

Spellmaking seamlessly integrated with the new magic system.
The new system is cool, but spellmaking, even limited a little, would vastly improve it.

The one thing I would implement for Skyrim is an app before the game's release! Bethesda needs to jump on this bandwagon and create some mini game where we could play this app on our phones before the game so we can earn a little bit of change for our character to use in game. It just makes marketing sense to me! Upon your character's release from prison, I dont know, he sees a sachel and in it is miraculously the same amount of money you had worked for in the Skyrim app. I don't think you should be able to earn too much before the game's launch but I think you should be able to earn enough in the app mini game that allows you to buy a shirt, pants, and shoes so your character isn't walking around in prison garb! Bethesda....make a stupid, small app that has the skyrim logo on it and that I can play when going number 2!!!!

Brutal, hardcoe, combat system. Fights would be hard and bloody, a good opponent would be HARD to kill.

It's hard to improve on perfection but if I were to say... I'd want the final battle with Alduin to be epic. Make him roughly the size of the Imperial City and let me ride on his back while we fly miles above Tamriel. From there I can pull some Shadow of the Colossus moves like crawling around and stabbing weak points. If I fall, I want to see my character scream in desperation.

Basically the combined ideas of http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1169397-morality-and-recognition/ into one great system.

Some people keep saying "hardcoe", not sure that porm would be a good thing to have in the game, I mean I know other games have had "brothels" and what not... ;). anyway!

I would like to implement a magic storage feature, so that you could cast a spell to switch out your equipment magically and could summon a magical container to your current location to store your stash, it'd have to a storage limit to stop it being abused to death, but I think it'd make up some of the short fall Mages had in previous games from having such low strength ratings early on and making revisiting defeated dungeons for more looting a tedaious boring aspect of the game. I know there was the feather spell, but over looting could leave you very weak if you meet something outside of the cave and you are suddenly hit by the burden.

Could be done so storage space is based on expertise of related skill, incrementing 50 pounds each advancement in expertise.

I'd implement more stealth tools: ladders, ropes, estinguishing lights, carrying and hiding bodies, knocking npcs unconscious, hugging the walls, this sort of things.

Lots of different quest outcomes, not just a good and evil way to solve them but a variation of dark gray or light gray options.
And real dialogue options to define my character not just topic dialogue where I can say one word.
