(Dawnguard DLC spoilers!)

I've played through it many many times on both sides but I've never run into this problem. I'm currently on the vampire side and I need to find the Moth Priest and bring him back to the castle, the problem is when I do bring him to the castle he is 100% hostile and attacks everything on sight. I have a save in Forebears' Holdout with the objectives " Deactivate the magic barrier " "Use your Vampire's Seduction on the Moth Priest " and " Capture the Moth priest ". When I deactivate it he just stands there and does nothing and doesn't attack. When I defeat him and bite him he goes to the castle and starts being hostile. Back when I was doing the quest an armoured troll must have glitched into the barrier and started attacking Dexion, I thought nothing of it since my summoned Flame Astronach killed it so fast I didn't notice. The corpses haven't disappeared either, Vanik, Malkus and Corpse are around the barrier. I avoided the quest for a while and hoped it would fix itself but it didn't, I think it's been about 50+ days in game. This is making me not wanna play anymore, does anyone have a solution or does anyone know if it will be fixed in a patch?

Wait, I think I found a fix! I used the platter glitch to walk into the barrier where Dexion is and I bit him and told him to go to the castle but the only problem now is that i'm stuck in the barrier, once I get out I'll check if he's non-hostile.

My god, it worked! I found a permanent fix! Bring 2 platters to the barrier, drop 1 and do the glitch (It will take more than one try), when you're inside DON'T attack him, just talk to him (Dawnguard) or use vampire seduction on him (Vampire) then tell him where to go. Wait an hour to make sure he left and then do the platter glitch again to get out. DO NOT DEACTIVATE THE BARRIER!
