If I remember correctly there won't be regenerating health. It does make sense after all, since there are medics to heal and buff your health. Health regen would make them more ineffecient to even useless.

Medics can buff your health and revive you. I don't think they can actually heal players.

i think the initial life (no buffs or abilities that add extra pips) regens slowly.

They can, I read somewhere (sorry, no link, quite a while ago) that SD decided to put full health packs in the game, instead of partial health packs like in previous ones. Don't quote me on that though.

Here`s a http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/6376/brinkhealthsystem.gif that shows how the regenerative health works and shows the medic health boost.

Ar your serious? A medic that can't heal the health bar? What bat[censored] crazy game have you played that a medic couldn't heal you?

Perhaps a health buff will also fill the bar again? I like this system personally, and I think the delay before the regen is long enough.

this is something that H0RSE and Wraith believe. i myself find it one of the better ways of healing.

and perhaps there is regeneration, i know there was, but hasn't the hp-bar changed yet?

I personally like what SD have chosen, its a nice compromise between Halo infinite health and a typical shooter where "oh crap, I have 1hp, better camp" is a common occurrence.

No, if you look at the clip that is taken from, you'll see he regenerates his health instead of getting healed. Take a look at all gameplay video's that are out there, you'll see that healt regenerates slowely. In BC2 health regenerates, and medics can help you do that faster, so I don't see why this isn't possible in one.

it's just a gif to show how it works, healing would be instant i believe.

Doesn't buffing someone's health restore their health bar?

that's something we don't know, no dev has explained it so...
H0RSE believes that buffing health and healing is the same thing, at least in brink.

I prefer that .gif's health regeneration system. Would make medic useful and not putting everybody at 100% HP.

"100%" doesn't make too much sense in BRINK anyway, as every body type has their own "100%" health.

At least I hope it's handled that way, so lights don't have like 75% and heavies 125%. Because that would mean everybody would get the exact same amount of health buffed by a medic. Instead, imho, a light should get less of a buff than a heavy.

In the newest container city video, the guy managed to buff his own health when it was already full, which saved him from dying. So, I think that health packs will heal people to their own baseline 100%, and the medic will be able to buff people beyond that. But, I don't even have enough supporting information to even call that an estimate, more of just a blind guess.
