There is something strange about Milmunir

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 12:06 am

Several times, when I start a new character and fight that dragon, as he dies, he speaks.

The thing is that there is no speech playing when he does. I have all subtitles turned on and the text phrase of "Dovahkiin, no!" flashes for about a second before it cuts out when I deal the final death blow and the dragon goes into its death animation before burning away.

Anyone else get this? Why is there subtitles for speech when no speech is present, especially on how other MQ encounters some of them do speak?

Is this a glitch or a bug with my game? Ive never heard this dragon speak anything during the fight. Not one word. Does he say more than that?

In my current game, he also briefly commented something like, "I forgot what sport mortals are!" while burninating guards.

Strange. Ive verified local game cache several times in the past when I thought something was wrong and since the release of this game, I have NEVER heard this dragon speak. Its like a random dragon encounter. No words. Not one.

You need to get pretty close to him to make it audible, NPC voices are kinda picky when and where they want to be heard sometimes.

I dont think its distance. My first couple of characters were melee and I was always right next to him. I just watched some videos on youtube. Found a german one where it shows him speaking the phrase "dovahkinn, no". However, I watch three seperate english ones and none of them had him say that phrase.

I think there is a glitch for the English version. Thats what Im using as well.
