After leaving Riley's Rangers HQ today, I was wandering around D.C. and I heard this crazy guy yelling all sorts of nonsense. There was a wastelander trapped in the alleyway by the nutjob's house that was rigged to explode with what seemed like about 30 mini-nukes. Although I could talk the wastelander into trying to talk to him, I could never find my way into the crazy guy's house to try and reason with him. Is there anyway to get the dude to shut up, other than killing him in the mini-nuke explosion?

You can't talk to him, if you get too close, he will trigger the bombs. If you approach the other side of the alley, stealthboyed, I've found that I can free hand "splash" a missile off the wall he is standing next to, and kill him that way, and get all the loot.

However, I always leave him alone these days. It's a nice addition to that neighborhood, and really helps the immersion.

Yeah, I think I will just leave him be. He really is kind of entertaining. I would much rather listen to him then I would Threeeee Daaaaaaaawwwwwwggggg!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. You can shoot him. No Karma loss or gain.

You just need to sneak until he's in sight, the kill him before he sets off the nukes.

If you do his friend thanks you, but never leaves.

You can sneak in and snipe him, doable without stealthboy or similar. Kill him with area effect as Big Daddy did or convince his friend to go in and watch him get blown up.

As I understand the explosion is scripted so if you are evil you can actually sneak in take all the mines and mininukes, then go back and convince his friend to go in.
