If there was a way... : Fallout: New Vegas

I don't know if it is possible, but is there any way for me to get into Legate's Camp without starting the finally battle? I play 360, so mods and console commands are out of the question for me.
I really want Legate's helmet and Blade of the East for my collection.

i haven't played in a long while but can you not ware there uniform or be friendly with them?
i opologise about my spelling and the vagueness of my advice but its been many months since playing.

Lanius only appears there during the final battle,so even if you manage to glitch in there he will not be there.

if you have the Lonesome road dlc you can get the blade of the west and also armour and a helmet thats based on his outfit.

I've seen a couple of youtube videos how to glitch in there, Lanius wont be there though.

In my question I meant if it was possible to fight Legate before the finally battle; I already know to get into the camp, (armor-hopping, for all you people who know what I am talking about) and since apparently there is noway to fight him before the end of the game, I hope Bethesda Studios makes DLC to continue the game, and have it end somewhere else. After a series of main quests, though mind you, cause in Fallout 3, It was boring once you discover every location and collect every weapon and do every quest, so to have a DLC where it only prolongs the end would be fun.

Obsidian has been finished with New Vegas for a while now, there will be no more patches or DLC's. There are plenty of mods that you can use to continue playing after the end of the game. I personally am very glad that there isn't a Broken Steel-esque DLC for New Vegas because I don't see the point of butchering the story.

No, you can't. It's locked till the end.

It svcks if you want the his sword.
But with Lonesome Road you get the Blade Of The West and lots of armour similer or like his, so no big deal.

His sword is'nt that good anyway, so it does'nt matter.
