is there a way to create a palidin or a death night type

Post » Thu Mar 06, 2014 6:13 pm

in each MMO i always play a paliden or a death night every MMO calls them somthing differnt but im sure you know what kind lf class's im talking about.. with what i seen for each class there seems to be no build for that kind of character.. i kind of like how each class has 3 differnt class trees but i do wish that this game had no classes just sets of skills that you unlock and you build your own class by choosing the skills you want i understand you can use any weapon or gear no matter what class you are but come end game raiding i doubt your going to get into a elite raiding guild unless you spec a certain way....

really im asking the people who got far in the beta did anybody try to make a hybrid class and have any luck at the higher lvls like say using a mage in heavy armor would you be gimped by not having the class armor bonuses like heavy mana regain

Keep in mind that because they want to embrace diversity, if wearing a certain type of armour seriously hinders you in any way, it will be changed. Another way around this however is to just not join such an elitist guild.

I'm rolling a death knight (but a bit specced into speed, like a death ranger..)

Dunmer
Sorc
Bow
Dual wield
Medium armour
Restoration staff
Dark magic (main class skill tree)
Daedric summoning (secondary)
Storm calling (only 1-2 points)

You van easily change this the best would be

Altmer
Sorc
Two-handed
Sword and shield
Heavy armour
Destruction staff
Daedric summoning (main for the bound armour and ward)
Dark magic (use the knockdowns etc.)
Storm calling (lightning form?)

As a sorcerer you shouldn't need plate anyway, you have spells and high damage to kill/avoid your enemies before they get to you.

You can mix it up though. You could have a few bits of plate armour for more defence and then 2-3 cloth bits to get some mana regen bonus from the light armour skill.

i really hope that it will work that way i just dont see how it would work very well End game where every single stat you have matters for raids as for the elitist guilds i always try to get in one on my main so i can learn the raids so that on my alts i can help newer people with raid content

The Templar will lend itself perfectly to the Paladin style of play.

The Nightblade will fit nicely for a Death Knight type of warrior.

DragonKnight DeathKnight

Coincidence?

Fiery grip is just like Death Knight's Death Grip.

You could think of them as a fire death knight instead of frost.

It all depends on what you see as a paladin or a death knight.

Paladin: heavy armor user, with sword and board and healing? Templar is your friend.
Paladin: heavy armor users, twohanded weapon and the ultimate evil killing machine? Any class will do with some fighter's guild skill line.
Paladin: bastion of good, protecting others and stuff? Dragonknight with the shield ultimates and a restoration stave.

Death Knight: Heavy armor user with a twohanded weapon, looking brooding and killing stuff? Any class will do, but Nightblade with siphoning might be a nice option. Try and get the daedra looks
