Is there a way to decompile omods?

Reinstalling Oblivion and I am trying to use just BAIN, and there are a couple mods that you can only DL in .omod format which is rather annoying.

Open the mod with OBMM, right click on it, then click 'Convert to Archive' or 'Extract to Folder'.

Yes if you right click on an OMOD there will be a context menu choose extract to and it will extract the contents just like any other archive (actually OMODs are just renamed archives). :ninja: ... aggh

I can't stress enough though that if the OMOD in question does serious ini configuration, OBSE plugins, shader installation on install to keep the omod - at least until you feel that you could configure the ini with yours eyes closed.
