Is There A Way To Decrease Stagger And Recoil?

Hey guys Im furiouse at all the "pauses" in the combat of oblivion caused by recoil and stagger.

Is is possible to decrease the chance of staggering when hit, and recoil when blocking? I want to decrease the chance not for the player only, but also for all enemies.

Maybe a mod or a tweak in the Ini file?

Well, for the player character, I believe as agility gets higher, you get less staggering and such. Maybe you could use the Elder Scrolls CS to make all enemies' agility a bit higher, like 70 or 80? Downside of that though, is that as agility increases, I believe there is also a smaller chance of knocking the enemy down with weapon/shield blows.

Phitt created an excellent Less Knockback mod that will take care of that annoying issue... his mods are awesome.

I could really use something that reduces block recoil, eliminates it, or changes the mechanics somehow. I like to play a defensive melee character with high, endurance, block, heavy armor, etc. but with Realistic Leveling and no agility skills as majors, my agility is very low. This makes blocking much less useful, despite how much I've focused on it, because I get knocked around so much.

Unfortunately that Less Knockback mod doesn't deal with block recoil. The best solution would be to split the recoil reduction between agility and endurance, but I don't think that's possible to mod. Duke Patrick's combat mod eliminated the recoil entirely, but he took his ball and went home. Does anyone know how he did it?

I found http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25813 awhile back, and I really like it. It's a simple stagger animation replacer - instead of bobbing and wobbling around for several seconds, you simply take a step back for about half a second. It's just a replacer, though - it doesn't alter stats or anything.
