Is there a way to not allow NPCs to enter a cell?

I was wondering if there is a way for a PC to run into a cell and not be followed by either friend or foe. The main problem is combat, obviously, as a lot of stuff is ignored during combat. Is there a way, other than locking the door?

*snip* Is there a way, other than locking the door?

Not that I'm aware of. But, if you lock the door, set it to "Needs a Key", set door ownership to Player and never place the key in game, only the Player will be able to go through it.

Perhaps a script placed on the door that checks if the user is the player and if so activates but if it is not either does not activate or moves them to a different Xmarker somewhere in the cell and if they are in combat mode also takes them out of combat if desired (I'm no scripter but it sounds like that should be doable !
