Can I make it so that I don't need the disk to play the game? Any help would be appreciated.

Well....if you are playing on PC, then the game itself is installed to the Hard Drive.....the disc is there just for authentication. You could download http://fose.silverlock.org/ to bypass the disc check and use mods.
