Am I the only one that feels cheated?

I admit I could be remembering wrong, but I seem to remember Todd Howard saying that all the Companions (with the exclusion of Dogmeat, of course) would be romanceable. Personally, I was looking forward to romancing a Super Mutant or a Synth Male. But I come to find out that only 4 or 5 companions are options, and only humans.

WHAT IS THIS?!?!

Pretty sure I saw a ghoul and a robot in there too actually. And a former child. You know how those are.

To be fair, one of the options seems to be a female robot...

Mrs. Handy is romanceable. Probably beats Fisto, who I always kept a safe distance from.

But that's just it! 2 Synth men and a male Super Mutant aren't romanceable, but [censored] "Mrs" Handy is?!? WHAT THE HELL, BETHESDA?!?!?

Todd is known to say stuff that's not true so I don't see how this is surprising.
