So they announce Fallout: New Vegas : Fallout Series Discussion

The title says it all. Yes, I understand that Bethesda is only the publisher of New Vegas, but it's still unfair that they would give out the name of the next Fallout game before the Elder Scrolls. Anyone agree?

Tes V is coming out sooner or later. It bothers me only slightly in which order they are announced in.

They make a game - I might buy it if I care about it...
I don't care in what order they make their games.

Even if I did prefer a new to come out ES first, I could hardly have any demands on the company's schedule!

Can you say "Skyrim?" I thought you could! - anyway, that's my guess on the TESV title.

We don't know it though, I think it's going to be Elsweyr and Valenwood.

Maybe they will combine the franchises and make a post-apocalyptic TES. Tamriel after some successful Daedric invasion, or after some anumidium kind of thing burns everything to the ground. That'd be... different.

I'll concede that that should have been in Fallout 3, and should have been a monster easter egg, (and extremely hard to find).

Maybe, but they trademarked the name Skyrim, just like they did for Morrowind and Oblivion before they came out.

I would guess that the act of handing over the next Fallout game to someone else is a good indicator Bethesda is working on the next TES game as we speak. If they were working on Fallout again, chances are we would not be getting a spin-off as well... that would be Fallout overload.

Not at all, now if Beth were making FO4 before TES5 then yes. But so far as we know (and in all likelihood) they aren't so no.

This is out of sense. Plus Its not being developed inside Bethesda, so whats your problem?
