It was a smart move to release another weapon. What you should have done was release the maps into rotation, and added more guns for a monthly purchase. If players see other players using different weapons, they will buy them too.
It is obvious that you do not care because Crytek as a whole are not communicating with each other often enough or seem to have a plan for growth in the community. This would have worked back in the 90's, but now you are up against Social Networks and players that will question friends about buying any other game with your name branded on them. It is sad to see this. Cry-Adam I know as an employee, you are given the cards and you have to deal with it. I know you are trying, but there are forces that are against you with keeping the community positive about the changes that are being made.
