theres been plenty of time to finish it. besides it would just be an announcement not a release, there would still be more time to finish DM.

fox i bet you $60 its honest hearts.

it sounds to me like it might be a bigger PL type dlc with all this talk about a national park. if so theyll need more time then they did with this tiny villa.

Personally, I'm going through it again after having spent 300+ hours doing different playthroughs for all the endings, and choices in some of the quests, and of course dialogue I hadn't heard. I haven't lost interest, my interest was waning but that was a week or so ago before I got back into it. Although, I agree I'd like to hear something about new DLC. I'm gonna guess it'll be Honest Hearts though, it seems pretty clear.....but who knows. All I care is that there's free roaming to be done, and it offers up some good loot, increases the level cap and adds some worth while perks. Dead Money had some good perks, but some were kind of worthless to me. I like how Obsidian goes about doing DLC, it doesn't seem to be an something they conjure up after they completed New Vegas. It's better than Anchorage and The Pitt. Don't get me wrong I liked both of those, but they were way to short and Anchorage didn't add much other than good loot.

I'm not sure the interest is there now. The Dead Money DLC should have ranked higher on the steam sales charts considering the main game was in the top 5 for a few weeks. One week after release and it's sitting at 17 on the Steam sales chart and will not be ranked in the top 20 shortly.

Who know, maybe people are just not aware it is out, or scared off my game critics, some just wait for steam sales, or combine pack, and there have been a lot of games out lately.

Really, I don't think there is a problem.

Not true, I think you're underestimating the spirit of fallout. It doesn't die that quick.

Eh, I didnt have much interest in the first DLC. It looks interesting an fun but the $10 I had went to Red Orchestra Ostfront which allowed me to get 3 offical mods for instead. I just dont know what it is but theres just something about New Vegas that doesnt grab my attention enough to keep playing straight through.

As far as the DLC goes release them when ever, I will pick them up when they are hardcopies.

I would say theres a 10% chance that they would announce it this week, and 20 next week, but 40 the following week and 30 the week after that.

but thats just me being odd

When ever they do announce it, they better hope its better than Dead Money was/is. God knows how many people check game raitings on things before they buy and Dead Money didnt do that good with a "fair" raiting.

I thought DM was better than half the stuff in the Vanila game.

I think half the problem is that some people honestly feel that they should be getting more from a 10USD pack than what you get in the typical DLC, after all its ~20% of the price of the original product, theres not realy that mutch actual new gamecode, just "content" so they feel that they should get at least 20% of the original games content.(if not more)

Well thats the thing some people that takes the leap might like it but I know alot of gamers that go by game reviews and raitings. Dead Money while it receives praise from the review site I use, it also received alot of put downs that might put off someone that isnt a hardcoe roleplaying/simulator player. Before its said this isnt a simulator, one could put forth the banner at the top touting "post nuclear simulation".

Cost is a factor, personally I think alot of these DLC`s are over priced for content. I gave $4 on steam to get two cars and two new clothes for Mafia II and that is pretty fair price since you got content you use. In Dead Money, I just dont know if you get enough. Based off reviews I read the game doesnt cator to those that want to explore while doing the quests which is what I like to do.

In New Vegas following the main quest from goodsprings, I would explore on my way. It made for a nice "realistic" feeling. So in my case all I can do is wait till I get a deal on two DLC for a set price and take that offer up.

The chances go up twice from 10% and then go back down? That makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

Have some patience. Do you really want a crappy half finished DLC?

Being on the PS3, I just got the DM DLC last week, so I'm still paying through it.

I guess being on the "late end" of a timed exclusive does have it's advantages when viewed in a certain light, like having something relatively "new" to play, on your console at least, while waiting for the next DLC to be announced. ;)

Somebody doesn't remember how FO3 launched with main quest breaking glitches and NV launched with bugs that corrupt save games.
