they need to upgrade the lunchboxes...

i'm glad i don't spend money on this game

I mean, yeah, i know that all the best items in the game can drop from lunchboxes,but..

its so disappointing to work for hours on a task to earn a lunchbox and then you open it and get

50 water

1 stimpack

100 caps

500 caps

that's just BS right there.

they lure people in saying "at least one rare guaranteed!"

but they don't tell you that the 500 caps is a "rare" card.

in the developers eyes, they think 600 caps is worth $1 of real money.

my scienguy can room rush at 0% failure twice and get 12 stimpacks every time.

whenever i log in and collect resources, i get 3000 caps just from the luck bonuses

50 water...is produced every 30 seconds.

i've earned about 20 lunchboxes during play really the only things of note are

scribe rothchild out of one

i got 2 flamers 15-17

i got a guided missile launcher 20-24

5 rare dwellers that don't count as one of the collectible ones, i changed their names and they are explorers

a jason vorhees costume

a ninja outfit

a kings crown

a lucky formal suit +7 luck (really if i had not gotten this, i would have rage quit long ago, this is the only thing that makes room rushing possible...)

but the rest of it has all been trash..like opening boxes and finding handguns 3-4

or common merc outfit, medic clothes, lab coats etc.. that my explorers already bring back 50 of those every hour...

i'm just glad i don't spend money on this, because i would feel ripped off. you need to literally buy hundreds of lunchboxes.

i think they should remove the 500 cap prize and guarantee at least 1 rare or better weapon or outfit in each one, with the same possibility of all the other stuff.

really all i'm asking for is for the 500 caps not to count as my "guaranteed rare"

pay $1 for 1 stimpack, 600 caps and 50 water? no thanks

Oho, really? Makes me glad I resolved to never buy any lunchboxes. Especially in light of how they're tied to specific vaults and if that vault fails spectacularly, those boxes are gone.

I agree, "rare" should be something enduring, not an unusually large pile of consumables that can just be generated by the vault's operations.

I also believe this should happen the lunch boxes have to little value for people to want to buy them.

i have gotten nice htings from the lunchboxes, don't get me wrong.

i got 2 legendary dwellers guided missile launcher

but i also get the 500 caps a lot, it feels like the zonk prize.

another zonk prize i got was the Red Ryder BB gun..0-6 damage, its the best bb gun,but meh, its still a bb gun and each one of my 65 dwellers already has something better.

i did just have an orgy and we are about to crap out anther 17 kids, so one of them can use the red ryder, but i also have scribe rothchild coming back from a 20 hour excursion with loads of goodies for my new babies.

i would just be happy if they took the dam 500 caps out of the prize pool.

that's just not cool.

and the common cards too, would be nice if its something more useful than 50 power or a stimpack..that just a big middle finger at the player. my vault consumes 50 power in like 10 seconds...

Yeah, I got the 500 caps zonk prize 5 times in a row. I wish it would've at least been more than 500 caps. I believe that 1,000 caps sits about right. Enough to matter but not enough to be a massive advantage. As it is it's an incredible letdown when I get that 500 caps.

Several of those cards are more meaningful when you are early in you vault design, they just need to scale with your vault as it progresses so that they don't become irrelevant

I completely agree. I spent a while restarting my vault to build a better foundation, and to see what the lunchboxes had to offer. At first it seemed great since I got Three Dog and Harkness within a few hours, and it made me really excited at the prospect of buying more. I spent $20, and ended up with Amata and a whole lot of garbage. Got a few awesome guns and armor, but mostly food, water, and caps. I don't think spending real money for 500 caps is reasonable at all. I like this game, but they should really adjust the lunchbox drops to not include resources, and make the caps regular cards. That way, you are always guaranteed a rare weapon, armor, or dweller. As it is now, there's no way I'm buying any more lunchboxes.

I wish F2P players would get lunch boxes more often. And i would happily take few guns instead of medic outfits or stimpacks.

Totally hear yah, Its kind of garbage when you see the gold flash, and then get that Ol Painless (5-10 damage) or the Red Rider BB gun. I've done much better with my free boxes, got several legendary dwellers out of the deal. But I totally hear yah on the trash legendary items and the 500 caps 'rare' card.

Urgh. I got two lunchboxes in a row where the "rare" was 500 caps. I want another celeb dweller! I only have Moira!
