They should add a way to unenchant wihout destroying the ite

Post » Tue Mar 26, 2013 8:07 pm

There are many things that come enchanted that I would love to wear, but are incompatible with my builds examples: (Helm of Yngol, Thalmor Robes, Robes in general)

So I think bethesda should add a way to unenchant items without destroying them.

Do you feel the same way?

"Incompatible" with your build? Just hybrid it up, that's the easiest solution.

I actually really like that you have to destroy an item. You can't get something for nothing.

At the expense of soul gems and not learning the enchantment if you don't have it.

Soul Gems are too plentiful in Skyrim to be considered anything other than expendable.

But, I see what you're saying. I guess it could be a perk. Say, you reach a certain skill level in Enchanting, so you have the option to unlock a perk that allows you to learn without destroying.

A perk like that sounds good to me.

i dont think unenchanting can logically save the object however i do think i ought to be able to add a second enchantment later, such as if i level up and take the 2 enchantments perk and want to enchant an existing item with a 2nd enchantment.

Can't you have 2 enchantments?

I would enchant more items for myself if it weren't a one-shot deal, and I'm an enchanter.

Almost everything becomes expendable about 40-50+ hours of gameplay due to the easiness of getting items, I said soul gems due to their relationship with enchanting.
I can't think of something that considered valuable enough to be considered an actual sacrifice.

I like this idea

Yes, but they have to be applied simultaneously.
