In the UK, the sub is ￡9 per month. That's about the cost of 2 and a half pints in a London pub. So I can make a choice on how to spend that ￡9. A month of a game that I love, or a short evening out and home early for bed once a month. I believe this comes under the heading of a 'no-brainer'.
