They should let you make your characters have more fat in these games as customizable options.

This doesn't only apply to Bethesda games but the games industry as a whole.

I've always wanted to play as Winston Churchill's evil twin brother with a monocle and a tophat. Maybe Fallout 4 has it but still, if not they should have this eventually.

Well in general i agree with you, however fallout 4 charcaters backstory is presenting you as active military personel so you character should at least be sort off fit(dunno the exact details apart from being active military if they even give em to you)

Spoiler
You can adjust your character's bulk when creating him/her. Not sure if you can reach Churchill levels of bulk though :P.

If anything, the Fallout Universe's military standards seem even more stringent than ours!

If we had fat options the first thing I'd do in game is some cardio. Because my heart would be jackhammering like a Quarterback on Prom night.

I guess you'll be happy then since from some of the leaked pictures I saw( Focused on character customization) you could make the character somewhat fat, not to winston churchill levels but definitely getting there.

Why, so fat people can roleplay? Hahaha. But seriously, do you really think that a post-apocalyptic world where people are struggling to survive and find food, which is far more scarce, would have enough to get fat? Just because this is in America doesn't mean there should be fat, everyone being lean or even too skinny makes more sense.

I'd like to see a morbidly obese (a la Immortan Joe) Raider boss who doesn't move much but has wicked amazing aim with a rocket launcher so everybody does his bidding and he hordes resources.

Or Jabba. I could see Jabba.

The only reason you don't see it much in games is because of the effect it has on models/animations.

I think he's more of a veteran with the "Knock em dead at the veteran's lounge" line. Some people get fat when they leave the military and even professional athletes because they're used to eating the big meals to fuel their strenuous activities but may take it easier on the exercise, so it's possible to have a fat protagonist.

Would you appropriately roleplay as a no-endurance, slow-sprinter? This is a genuine question. I'm pretty hardcoe with my RP, and I even made a "larger" Skyrim dude with some body slider/creation mods. I combined it with an unarmed combat mod and it felt good. Thought his running was still too good.

Admittedly, I don't do heavy RP, but I guess you could RP as a big dude that uses heavy weapons that prefers to hold his ground and mow his enemies down from a distance rather than running from cover to cover trying to get a better position on his enemies.

Still I just like the archetype, I've always wanted to play as a corrupt business man in a Fallout game with just a little bit of weight beneath his belt and be a total jerk. XD I'm wierd

and besides I've played as way too many physically fit badass type characters in games with customization, I'd like to explore other character types every once in a while. ;P

Edit: Oh, God, I'm so excited for next week! :D

I can dig that. High Charisma, High Intelligence businesman relying on well-funded, well-trained companions? I like it.

Would definitely make survival mode harder!! Unless you are able to find more food in the wasteland. Of'course a cooking perk would be needed too.

Appearance doesn't matter. I think it should. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CX2Qfv5O634 should have a minus to Intelligence but a bonus to Charisma, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4A1o3ZCHzE a minus to agility, and a bonus to fat jokes.
