So my favorite armor in Skyrim is the Thieves Guild Armor, despite the hood being glitch if you're a Vampire but not the point. There's only one problem, you can't improve it!!! I am level 100 in smithing, all perks in smithing. Since I have Arcane Smithing and 4 pieces of Leather, you'd think I could improve the armor, well that is a negative.

But if there is a way to improve the Thieves Guild Armor (Even the master set), can someone let me know? If so that would be teriffic!

As of now, did you upgrade it before? If so, you're going to need Smithing gear to go past it.

I can improve the TG armour and Guild Master armour.

Nope. I just picked up a full set from the back room with the chests and targets.

Well I haven't completely finished the Thieves Guild quest line. I'm up to the point where you go to the Bee Farm place, Everglow Estate is it? So last quest I did for them was to collect the 3 payments from the Argonian, the nearly-bald man, and the horny woman lol. So do I have to complete the quests for the Thieves Guild in order to improve the armor?

finish the goldenglow estate job and then try to improve the armour.

You should be able to improve (smith) the armor as soon as they give it to you.

But since there is no perk, you can't improve it very much... sure it'll go legendary, but the stats are more like basic Leather Armor and nothing like a perked armor ie. Scaled.

But what are you saying - it won't let you improve it at all, from the vanilla?

I was always able to upgrade TG armor even when I played on the PS3. Sounds like you have a bug or something.
