So the part of the quest where you tell Brynjolf that you got the confirmation that the clients will pay and he leads you to the back to join the guild some things go wrong. First the quest marker over his head is gone, then I checked my quest log and the current quest I'm on is gone neither is it in my completed quests, and to top it all off after I walk further in the hideout, Brynjolf and everybody else starts attacking me.


If anybody has any help or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

I just did that quest yesterday on PC without problems. However, nearly any quest can glitch in odd ways, and some of the TG quests are notorious for it. Try going back an earlier save. Either right before you report to Brynolf, or even redo the whole quest.

You might have accidentally stolen something from the Guild.

As suggested, loading an earlier save is your best bet.

this one had the same thing happen but with the companions ......on PC....when she went to test her arm with Vilkas in the court yard every one would get hostile

this happens 3 times in a row, the solution was to advance time and make every one go to sleep and the did the test with Vilkas alone in the court yard and every thing was fine.

now the thing is this one looted the Companions for everything they had so it could have been the cause of the bug

Sir Pluto makes a valid observation ..........but but but

rather going to a older save & if the issue is related to some you stole (you sneaky little thief) try advancing the game by 4 skyrim days .........or even easyer just walk up to a guard and hand your self in & go to jail,

all stolen items will be removed, now go do your quest atfer you have done your time (now you wont have nothing stolen on you)

after that if you want your stuff back & its important to you, go back to the jail and find the evidence locker and it will all still be there
