Thieves Guild Quests in Raven Rock

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 9:18 am

So there's me with a lower level character wanting the improved Bonemold and I read that you have to do a couple of quests for Vex and Delvin before you can ask about the shadowmark outside Glover's place. I was bemused to find that one of the jobs Delvin asked me to go on was located in Raven Rock itself.

Does anyone know if it now has its own special guild quest if you do 25 jobs? Probably not, there's still loads of new content but this has me curious.

Well I just did the first quest they give you to break into that bee manor thing, and then I could do the quest. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you didn't read the thread.

It is 5 jobs, not 25, for the reputation quest. But no, I do not know. My guess: no special job.

Also, just go talk to Glover and ask him about the shadow mark. No need to talk to Delvin or do any special jobs.

You only have to do 5 jobs for the extra job. But it would be cool to get yet another merchant selling Solstheim unique gear in the Flagon. Will try it out. I'm going for 125 jobs right now to completely renovate the thieves guild.

I did the whole main Thieves' Guild questline and I can't ask him about it. What do I need to do?

It was really small. I wouldn't even call them TG quests.

You probably need to reach a certain level in the TG in order to recognize the shadowmarks. After that there is a dialog with Glover and a quest he sends you on. That is how it starts. The rewards are interesting.

Here was my experience with Glover:

When I first met him I was not in the TG. No dialogue option. Later, I joined the TG so I could get access the the master level pickpocket trainer. I did nothing else. I did not do any special jobs. I have not done the bee farm thing. But the next time I went to Glover to sell some stuff, he had a new dialogue option to ask about the shadow mark. He then gave me the bonemold quest.

Do you need to look at or interact with the shadow mark or anything? Because I beat Darkness Returns for God's sake and I can't get the dialogue option.

Truth is, I didn't even notice the shadow mark until the dialogue option appeared.

My bad - its 5 jobs per city. I also agree, there's probably no special quest for doing 5 jobs in Raven Rock... but you never know...
