1 thing i want in a dlc

Post » Sat Oct 02, 2010 5:57 am

I want a perk that make it so you can build home made upgrade for weapon... you know like 2 bottle of water tied together to put under your assault riffle to reduce the recoil or a lense for a snipper gun made out of empty bottle bottom >.>

This would be nice, I wouldn't mind being able to make my own mods. Lot easier in the earlier stages of the game.

the idea was, 2 milk bottle, a rope tying both bottle you put a ring near the muzzle of the gun, pass the rope in the ring, this way it make the muzzle heavier and more stable.

It's not a bad idea, though the bottles probably would melt considering how often the gun would be used and the heat produced. Though this is just speculation and I might just be talking nonsense like I usually do.

I think I'm going to echo the spirit of the post by last thing you never saw.

Guns are complex devices. The counterweight idea would actually make the gun less accurate and the bottom of a bottle would make a poor (absolutely nonfunctional) lens. In short: the mod would assemble garbage into (perhaps) fancier garbage.

Maybe like i sayed it was just 2 idea for DIY weapon upgrade, maybe they are not functional but who care, just put it as idea for giving a use to the junk in mojave and upgrading weapon is always fun. :/

So many empty soda bottles in the Wasteland and there's no practical use for them...
Seriously, there should be some sort of launcher that shoots empty soda bottles.

When no restrooms are nearby, they make suitable toilets. And APPARANTLY, people in NoVac frown on you pooping in the bottle in the middle of the hotel parking lot. Well EXCUUUUUUUSE me for eating that Wasteland Omelet and having bad gas :sadvaultboy:

I'd like it only if it totally degraded the other features of the weapon, such as sawing the barrel off a .50 cal and making it a very slow reload pistol but was incredibly powerful at short ranges and useless at long range.

Otherwise it would just be "recipes" for uber-powerful wepons. That would be cool too, don't get me wrong :) But the fastest thing to kill a game is being all-powerful - there's no fun if there's no threat.

What I mean is if you could modify a grenade rifle to shoot empty soda bottles, it should only be a shotgun substitute, not a long range kiling machine. But it suits your play, so it kicks.

If you could shoot vodka and whiskey bottles and it sets the target on fire when it hits. The cost of ammo would still be cheaper than some guns, but so worth it.

Duct taping three dirty water bottles to your hunting shotgun turns it into a slug-only gun that is accurate and more powerful than most rifles but not as long range, but way better than birdshot at close range and negates armor at close range, but adds 3 pounds.

Using a pilot light and embalming fluid to turn a BB gun into a poison dart gun that could kill anything short of a supermutant or deathclaw with a head shot or just disable a limb. But you get addicted if you use it too often :)

If you could optimize a particular gun for how you play, that would be nice. A single shot 12 gauge that was crippling at close range - requiring a single and a hunting gun, plus obligatory duct tape and wonder glue and a hotplate :D

A .308 service rifle that required all the service rifle upgrades first, then you add in a hunting rifle, using a welding gun or paying a Boomer or Gun Runner.

A plasma laser sniper rifle that used an energy cell and a mf cell that you could only get done by the Van Graffs if you didn't kill them. And killed someone for them every time you needed one.

I want them to make Gojira actually available in Wild Wasteland (best movie reference ever). It does not need to be as powerful as they made it if they do not want. But they have Gojira that can be used in the game so why not make in in a patch that it actually now appears. Best enemy ever.

Also if they could add in the dialogue for the fiends which they obviously have but took out. A lot of the stuff they left in the game but not actually placed in the game should all be made available. Hell if they wait until they release an edition with all dlc content and a bunch of added features I might just re-buy the game (although dlc content that re-adds [censored] in or makes new stuff would be awesome.

but yes I want to see Gojira. Fire Gecko indeed.

I would like to see some existing perks -- ie Strong Back, Intense Training, Finesse, Better Criticals -- that you can give to your companions instead of yourself.

You can use them to purify water and get cactus water, and you can now with HH brew your own Nuka cola and sunset sass.
