People always talk about the same few things.

Word spreads fast in Cyrodiil. Infact, it's instant.

"So you're the hero of Kvatch?"

"I just fast-travelled from there less than 12 seconds ago"

You touch it you buy it. Unless, of course, you jump on it. That doesn't count.

Yup.

If you turn around in a shop, and the your sheath swings over and knocks down a pot (strangely, it doesn't break. Armorers should incorporate pots and plates into their works) it's perfectly alright.

But if you dare try and pick up the very same invincible pot and put it back. You are suddenly deemed as "Criminal Scum". And must either pay a fine, or go to jail.

The charge? Theft.

"I was just trying to put this damn pot back! Why would I steal this?! It's only worth 4 Gold!!!!"

You can not drop things in the air.
But you can repair things, and make potions while 30 ft above the ground.
I never got this. They make the possible impossible, and the impossible possible.

Also, you can fast travel after diving off dive rockm without losing any health.

...crickets can chirp, even if they're on the top of Valus Mountain where it's snowy & cold.

For those of you who don't know much about crickets, they only are active when it's warm at night; therefore we only hear them in Maryland during summer months, not during winter.

People never get cuts. They just get progressively larger bruises until they die.

Everyone wants the adoring fan's haircut.

Bandits (can) own full glass armour. So why do they need to keep being bandits then?

Vision does not adapt to lighting conditions: if you walk into a dark room and just stand there for a while, you will not be able to see any better. If you stand outside on a bright day for hours and then walk inside, you will be able to see just fine immediately.

Vampires can't get suntans.

You can harvest from a garden or field, but you can't plant one.

You can harvest from a garden or field all year long, regardless of the season.

Despite the fact that the appearance of Khajiit depends entirely on what part of the Lunar Cycle they were born on, the only type you'll ever see is Ohms-Rat.

How else would they get that armor? :P

A complete soundtrack plays for your convenience as you go through life (Edit)

No matter what time of day it is, the door to leave a cave will always have light behind it

Even if you hit someone with a sword, they show no visible signs of injury and in fact continue to fight you

Fast Travel is real

Looking at your inventory/map in fact stops life

You can hold 99 arrows in a quiver and only see about 10

When you hit someone with an arrow, sometimes the arrow disappears!

You cannot sleep in someone else's bed

Paintbrushes float (unpatched)

As you progress, everyone obtains better stuff

No idea when games such as oblivion are supposed to be set. If any time.

I think it's based more on Ancient Rome than Medieval Times, just judging by things like the Arena (similar in structure, albeit much smaller, to the Roman Colliseum), the structure of the Imperial City itself, and the armor style of the guards. Although certain things were added from different time periods, for example Steel armor resembles Medieval armor, and I think Orcish armor was based on Ancient Greek armor.

Sorry I know thats off topic but o well :)

You can shatter a metal hammer into nonexistence by hitting your leather boots with it, if you're inexperienced

You can carry 300 pounds of armor and weapons and run at full speed, then be immobilized by picking up an apple

Enemy Archers (and spell casters) do not follow the laws of physics. Hide from them all you like, when there's a straight line between you and them no obstructions that arrow magically goes through your enemies back and straight into your face.

Humanoid enemies do not seem to turn around, they warp. Especially Archers, filthy little things.

Certain Vampires in certain guilds give you Cyrodill Vampirism despite being a Vvardenfell vampire.

You don't need X-Ray vision or 'Detect Life' to know that there are "enemies nearby".
