Things I hope BGS will include in Skyrim

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:07 pm

True, I don't see how you have the right to say it's not needed and childish. Most of the people that play the game would like more immersion ( like six ) that will add to there RP experience so it's just a matter of opinion. What does IMO mean?

IMO = In My Opinion

Can we all be civilized and mature (as I know we all are) and get back on topic? Thanks! :disguise: Whatever happens is left up to Bethesda. Just recognize there was "six" in Fallout 3, and it wouldn't be a big leap to believe it could be in Skyrim. Regardless, this thread is not just about six. It is most importantly also about innovation and new features in Skyrim!

I shall alos include the question; Is it childish and not needed. To show my respect to who ever said that.

What IMO? I would think that it would be blatantly obvious that the whole statement was my opinion. I also fail to see how Im being immature. If anything your retort is immature, if you wish to discuss the issue then present your side of the debate in a manner that doesn't make you sound like you are 12.

Please enlighten me as to how these things could be seen as childish and overrated in a game based around said things.

When did I say you were immature??
Hey hey stop right there.. " if you wish to discuss the issue then present your side of the debate in a manner that doesn't make you sound like you are 12." Lets say I'm 12 years old. What would then stop me from posting in this forum? Do you posses the power in here to decide who may post and who may not? And hey if you didn't noticed in my first post, it was kinda for a laugh I said it. Please mind your own buisness if you don't have anything constructive to tell.

Personally, I could not care less about six in TESV.
If your character can have six, it's not a problem for me... if he can't, still not a problem.
It would be optional anyways, so I you don't like six in videogames, just don't do it.

Maybe it was the sarcasm here
I'm glad that you're so very mature! How I admire you.

I would say it would be the fact that you have to be 13 to join this site.

So you don't want me to post in this thread because I disagree with you? If that is the case you are gonna have a hell of a time on this site.

Oh indeed you may disagree, but I don't see any reason why you comment on a some kind of joke like we are all stupid and immature in here.
As for the 12 years thing that was a fail of me, but then lets say 13..

Video games in general are seen childish by many simply because they are seen as tools to keep kids in the corner and quiet for whatever reason.

As for for the mindless swinging and casting spells? It doesn't matter if the game is built around it or not, the very concept of of magic is scoffed at and swinging things around is seen as something a kid does.

--> Beards. What if I want my Nord to be an old bald guy with a scruffed up beard?

--> My character being spoken of that's not in third-person. You know what I mean. People talk about your character (even in your face) as if it was someone else. If I do something, I want people to know it.

--> Eyepatch. Like the beard, suppose I want to roleplay that my character is missing an eye. Oh, and the eyepatch should be for both eyes. (By that I mean there are two items: Eye Patch (Left) and Eye Patch (Right)). Would be hilarious if you could wear both eyepatches on both eyes. XD

While I agree that video games are generally seen as a childrens toy that concept is quickly fading, especially when talking about M rated games. As for magic being scoffed at, Im gonna have to disagree, just because magic in life is nothing more than a parlor trick does not mean that it is looked down upon. Just because its not real doesn't make it childish. And I know a couple lumber jacks and baseball players that would disagree with your final statement. :D

That was the best comment of all day :D I totally agree! And sorry for my inability to shup up in the discussion.
Please bring back the original topic and forget the word six. I already regret that I mentioned it in the first place!

Yes
Yes
Yes

I would also love to see many more weapons to choose from, especially the return of polearms. And speaking of returns, I want medium armor to make a comeback as well.
