Things that should be balanced in multiplayer

Most issues, IMO have been fixed through 1.2. One more patch should finalize and then we wait for sandbox 3 and DX11 BUT there's something i wanna bring up and that's balancement in the multiplayer. I actually started enjoying the game but theres a few things i think need fixing.

1-Scar needs to be nerfed, perhaps by slightly more recoil and smaller clip size.
2-The Scarab also needs to be nerfed like the scar
3-Jackal needs at LEAST a slight bit more of power. Not much more, just SLIGHTLY more.
4-Cloak on enemies should have a SLIGHTLY stronger outline in SOME sense. Not immensly but VERY VERY slightly.

Just type in the numbers for the ones you think need balance. Type All if you think everything here should be done for balance or type 0 if you think none should happen.

4 and 3. Dont touch the Scar or the Scarab because all the weapons are less accurate than they should be. Pay attention. THE LASER IS GOD IT REDUCES BULLET SPREAD TO NEAR 0. Dont you touch the laser either. Just start using it and trust your aim.

The lazer is balanced as it has its own weaknesses to it. It reveals your position easily and sometimes too much accuracy can cause you to lose a fire fight. I think Scar and Scarab need AT LEAST to be weakened in bullet tdamage, but more recoil and bigger magazine can be efficient. keep it coming guys, keep this thread alive.

Its best to get MAXIMUM balance :P

Scar should be nerfed. The rest are fine. Scarab is in no way of needing nerfed.

What needs to be stronger is the fricking K-Volt! can't believe I wasted an unlock on that.

Also on pro-mode L-tag should be a 1 hit kill. Lol.

Gauss should have a crosshair for hip fire. Why it was removed form C2 is beyond me when crysis 1 and wars has a crosshair and allow for laser but this doesnt.

Also I forgot about K-Volt, that **** needs to be stronger lol. I LOVE using the K-Volt but it's just......I mean yheah it's fun to use but I rage because it's so hard to kill with it. I usually end up meleeing an enemy to finish them off...u literally need to put like 30-40 shots in them with a K-volt, wtf lol

3 - ....No, jackal fills its role when compared with the marshall, increasing its power would just be stupid (it can already 1 shot kill at 3m, thats enough, learn to not hold left click so much and time your shots). DO NOT TOUCH THIS WEAPON CRYTEK.
4 - Again no, there are modules that increase invis visibilty above its already damn obvious state. Pay attention to your surroundings and you wont have a problem.


So yeah, nerf the scar, leave the other 3 points alone, they are fine as is.

If it already does have a sound it needs to be louder and should be around what the sound was for crysis 1. Crysis wars made the cloak sound louder while making visibility less visible. Why should it be that sound is taken away and visibility is dropped like hell. I still say it easy to see if you know what your looking for but for most people they need another indicator.

2-Perhaps so, just thought I might as well throw that in though since i've seen OTHER ppl complain about it
3-One shot kill at 3m? I didn't know that. I normally time my shots but it's hard to shove in at least 3 solid shots when a scar kills you after you shoot one shot.
4-Forgot about those modules......i also should adjust my TV, something about the brightness and color makes the game funky to play online, because when someone cloaks I INSTANTLY lose them. WTF? lol

Lol, whoops, I guess I missed your post haha. I actually agree with this, I forgot what Crysis Wars did lol about cloak. If there's anything I think Wars did right in it's multiplayer, it's the cloak balance. There was definately that one loud sound to indicate going into cloak and coming out, and that was a helpful indicator. Like I said, I think just a slight bit more of visiblity when in cloak for Crysis 2 MP would be nice, because sometimes the cloak is so strong you LITERALLY can't even see some enemies, especially in darker maps.

So you want to nerf cloaking because hackers are abusing it? Might as well remove all forms of doing damage to anything then, because hackers abuse anything and everything.

Balancing a game around hacking is about as productive as eating my joystick.

I think I've racked around 400 kills with the jackal, trust me the gun works, not on all maps, and not all game modes, you'll need to tailor your modules and attachments to fit a run and gun style, corner camping won't work, you need to be flying around the map and bursting out of bushes. Its alot of fun to use right, experiment and see what works.

Jackal is my main weapon and i already raqe with it (Ive even been accused of hacking cause i won the game 25 kills 5 deaths), buff it and ill start winning every match. Fix the Marshall though its a pile of **** at the moment

The marshall fills a different role, seems to mainly be a hardcoe weapon, it simply doesn't have the rate of fire to keep up in standard mode, perhaps if they buff armour mode and default health (so its less codspray/reliant on the alpha strike), and boost the marshalls damage to keep its 4-5m kill zone.

Nerf the SCAR & SCARB. I dunno if its meant to be a all round weapon suitable for any range but even so it shouldnt have been better than other purpose built guns like Feline and Grandel (or whatever its called).

laser sights reveal your position from 30 meters away. in a map that's a little bit too open, half the players can see your position. when cloaked, the laser is still visible.

you can't be even remotely stealthy with the laser

I didnt say just because of the hackers. All I was trying to say was that they need to have a sound that people can hear and then look for the cloaker. I listed the different versions of the cloak for the games. going in its direction the sound should not be gone. The sound is to balance the visibility.
