what things do you always do?

****************************************

I crouch before opening a chest and stand up as I press active on the chest. Even on locked chests.
I collect atleast 3 of each weapon and armour.
I always kill Nazeem.
I always close doors.
I always kill rabbits.
I always follow Ralof through Helgen.
I collect every alchemy thing I see.
I always pick the warrior stone as my first stone thingy.
I always kill the bandits that camp out near Helgen cave entrance.
I always offhand hit any dead animal with an iron dagger when looting it.

I always go into first person for conversations. I can't stand how your character just stands looking forward with a blank look on his/her face while someone to the right of you talks.

I always put away my weapon when entering a town

I have a garden if I build a house. Have always built one so far.

Whatever guardian stone I pick, I keep the rest of the game.

I always own a bow, even if I sometimes leave it at home.

I always close doors.

I always walk indoors, and almost always walk whenever I'm in a city or village. If I'm on a horse, I slow down through villages.

I always unequip my helmet and weapon (and shield, if the character uses it) when near other people.

I always sit down to eat and drink.

I always pick alchemy ingredients, even if my character isn't really focusing on Alchemy. It's a compulsion! In fact, I'm planning my next character and I may try to consciously avoid Alchemy and picking ingredients, just to try to break out of that habit.

I always close the bedroom or Inn doors and removing the clothing of my characters before they go to bed.

I always visit Riverwood and clear out Embershire Mine.

I always collect at least one set of every armor piece.

I always store crafting components in chests and clothing in closet/cabinet style storage places.

I always store ingredients in barrels.

I never walk through town with a helmet on or weapon drawn

If my character is a sneaky type, only wears light armor.

If my character is a more warrior tank type then heavy armor.

There are probably other things, I just don't feel like trying to remember them all. Most of this stuff just comes natural.

I refuse to pick Nirnroot because of that stupid Oblivion quest. xD

  • Always kill hunters. They're free XP and are useless otherwise.
  • I always end up taking a follower at some point. I like hearing their comments on certain things.
  • Always remove my helmet when speaking to someone outside of battle.
  • Always walk indoors or when approaching non-hostile NPCs.
  • Always pick an argonian (with 2 early exceptions)
  • Always pickpocket/take my gold back from trainers when possible.
  • Always save the main quest for as late as possible.
  • Always side with the Stormcloaks (with 2 early exceptions)
  • Always follow Railof out of Helgen.
  • Always avoid sleeping. Sleep is for the weak.

Well, it is an alchemical ingredient, but even on characters with alchemy I avoid it. There are plenty of other ingredients that I can use to get the same effect.

Oh, also, I never put points into lockpicking, at least not yet. I'm considering it with my thief character.

-Pick all flowers that I see.

-Always used the same character with the same looks and backstory.

-Hoard all the expensive gems loot I found instead of selling them or using them somehow.

-Hop like a demented rabbit every time I carry too much to be able to run.

-Use the Frost Rune spell against enemies. Failing that, a good dragon shout should defeat them :D

-Make sure all my followers are essential.

-Use a mod-added levitation spell to take shortcuts in dungeons because a lot of the time, I cba to actually fight off all of the enemies to the top.

-Change into a swimming costume every time I go into water. It's for greater immersion and I don't want the Jester clothes to get all soaked.

-Fast travel.
