Not being religious enough...actually screw that one.

*serious*

Would probably say i'm ashamed of nothing and regret nothing because it's all part of life's lesson. Though I will say I felt like a jerk getting an item in game depriving a group mate of it that really needed it.

Being too religious, for me :P Alright, alright, I kid

In all seriousness, I am ashamed of how I am frikin' quiet and timid I am
I am ashamed of how slow I eat :P

I spend way too much on fast food. It's just so GOOD! Luckily, I couldn't gain weight even if i tried. No, really.

Still not getting off my ass and exercising. I've only got a little more to lose (far less than what I've already lost), but healthy eating will only take me so far and I still make excuses to myself. I walk instead of taking the car but I let myself get hung up on the idea that people may see me if I go out for a jog - even though I know no one would really care. It's pathetic really.

I find that looking at myself in a better light gives me the confidence to do things like that, and not be lazy too.

Oh yeah, they do LOOK cool. But I was seeing a girl that smoked and it svcked. Clothes smell, she smells, she tasted funny. She can't smell worth a damn, my sense of smell is no where near as sensitive as it was and food just bores her (which is a big deal for me, being a huge foodie). Weird thing was, not being a smoker myself, the smell of dried tobacco is very very nice. I love it. I just don't like it being burnt anywhere near me.

Well, I don't have a very strong sense of smell or taste to begin with, so it doesn't affect me very much. I do know people who smoke who have to go to huge lengths to disguise the smell though.

...And this world does or something?

Wait, you think it doesn't? In what sense doesn't it make sense (heh...)?

As for Pokémon world, it doesn't make sense because:

  • If all non-human animals in the world are pokémon (which is, as much as I've gathered, the case in Pokémon world) then by all rules of logic and sense it follows that humans must be pokémon as well.

  • Nearly the only (if not the only) scientists in the Pokémon world are pokémon scientists and they themselves are not scientists because none of them seek nor seem to want to seek answers to important questions about pokémon, an example of which is illustrated in the next point.

  • How can certain pokémon spew amounts of water which exceed their body mass and, moreover, not even lose any mass while spewing it?

  • If a living being has a complicated enough vocal tract which enables it to say [pi], [ka] and [t??], then it must be capable of saying at least [b], [p], [t?], [d?], [?], [?], [k], [g], [i], [a] and [?] in almost any order and combination and, since the creature apparently has the cognitive capacity to understand spoken language, it makes no sense that it would use only three syllables in its form of communication when it can produce much more.

  • Some pokémon species were named while no living specimen of them has ever been seen by any human (only their fossils were found) and those species are thought extinct. Yet, when living specimens of some of those species are found, it turns out that specimens of some of those species vocalise their names.

There's more, but I think that's enough to prove my point.

They did depict a mongoose in the cartoons once.

I didn't know that. Then I suppose it could be argued that a tiny fraction of animals in the Pokémon world are not pokémon and that humans are one of those species. And fine, I'll pretend that that makes sense. But other points still stand.

I was under the impression that Pokemon were invaders from another planet. Perhaps they wiped out the majority of earthborn life and somehow changed human society to focus entirely on Pokemon. Imagine if everyone you talked to in the world made their life revolve around animal husbandry.

Okay, so like I said, point #1 falls off (and maybe point #2 as well), but what about the other three?

  • How can certain pokémon spew amounts of water which exceed their body mass and, moreover, not even lose any mass while spewing it?

  • If a living being has a complicated enough vocal tract which enables it to say [pi], [ka] and [t??], then it must be capable of saying at least [b], [p], [t?], [d?], [?], [?], [k], [g], [i], [a] and [?] in almost any order and combination and, since the creature apparently has the cognitive capacity to understand spoken language, it makes no sense that it would use only three syllables in its form of communication when it can produce much more.

I'm just being facetious, there's no reason to expect a game for children to make legitimate biological sense. :P

And I agree. However, Defaulted apparently doesn't:

I sometimes wish that we could just live in the Pokemon world. Everyone would be so much more friendly, and life would be better.
Too bad Pokémon world doesn't make any sense.
...And this world does or something?

Which is the reason why I wrote what I wrote in the first place. I don't expect the world of video games/cartoons for children to make sense, I was merely pointing out why it doesn't, as opposed to the world we live in.

You will have to stay away from my cat then.

It's Incredible how a light hearted topic like this, (my aim) turned out like this. There have been no flaming, only helping. You are good people.

I know I already posted something, but here's another: when I "need" to go to the store to get something like soda or coffee filters or, er, food, and I have ALL FRIGGING DAY free to do something that would take me 30-40 minutes...and I don't. Pathetically lazy? Oh yes. :D

I'm the other way around. No matter the size of a task, I have to do it immediately, to be able to enjoy the rest of the day. (I'm a little obsessive.)

A world where children enslave small animals, force them to fight to the brink of death, and then steal all the loser's money.... makes perfect sense to me.

I'm ashamed of not working harder in school and getting minimal grades when I could have done a lot better.
I'm ashamed of letting myself get as overweight as I have.
I'm ashamed of some of the guys I've dated in the past because I should have had more self respect.
I'm ashamed I've never truly worked for much in my life, most good stuff has happened because of luck I think...
I'm ashamed at some of the vicious words that come out my mouth sometimes when I have monthly female rage issues.
I'm ashamed I have no savings in the bank and live paycheck to paycheck.

But I do have guilt issues. :D I could probably have done a lot more. ;)

The last two sentences is the problem.

You have to love yourself for others to love you back. You are a lot like my girlfriend. When she started to take care of herself, (lose weight, quit smoking etc) I got interested in her and we have been together three years now.

Maybe you have a great life (I hope so). Either way "love thyself" is a good life lesson.

I'm out and I'm proud: I LIKE PHIL COLLINS' MUSIC.

However, I do also possess ABBA's 'Waterloo' album.

And 'ABBA Gold'.

And 'More ABBA Gold'.

"Used to"?
You don't like it anymore?
It was maybe a little less than a decade since I last watched it but I found it to be a good series.

My children listen to Limp Bizkitz. Should I be ashamed of failing as a parent?
