As someone doing a chaotic stupid playthrough, many of mine have already been broken. Just gotta remind myself i'm playing a moronic sociopath who killed and ate Goodsprings and Primm. Say, does lonesome road have any low-INT dialog options with Ulysses? I'd LOVE to hear some of those. The only one this character won't do is join the Legion. He is truly [censored] for the NCR.

Don't remember any low intelligence checks with Ulysses. However, if trying to talk him down at the end, you can completely misinterpret the words on his tapes. Needless to say, doing so gets him really pissed at you!

Anything you've never NOT done in a playthrough? Personally, I always kill Caesar.

Nothing really, although I almost never finished the Legion campaign, I just don't do well when a piece of [censored] despot tells me what to do and then threatens me like he really has the control in that situation. I had to kill him about 3 times until I destroyed my pride...then I went and played another NCR playthrough so you can guess how that went. :gun:

I had a hard time with House also. I mean come on, even with your advanced robots on very hard hardcoe mode I could still end his life within 2 minutes if I felt like it. With that said don't treat me like I'm a damn employee, in reality my courier would of said 51/49 take it or die from a 200 year old baseball bat.

This is what it would look like in crude terms >>> :brokencomputer:

As far as the NCR goes it was easy. You see even if Oliver or Moore commands my character they aren't the NCR really. They're just PART of the NCR. With the Legion and House they ARE the state while Moore and Oliver are just people working within the state and aren't even the top person. (President.)

But does it matter if the top dog commands you or the 2nd/3rd/4th/etc does? I don't really see the difference. None of the main factions are particularly "warm" with you. They just use you to further their cause.

Warm isn't really what I'm looking for. It's more so respect+pride in game. And like I said it makes a difference for me if only one or two random bureaucrats and commanders have bad moods vs the founder of the state and organization. Like it's more disrespectful for the creator of McDonalds to spit in your food than some random worker for my rp characters...nationalism for the NCR helps of course....

Iget what your saying but i still don't agree with the distinction. If someone spits in my food, then i'm mad at that person either way :P Carry on though lol.

Come Fly With Me. I've never even been to the Repconn Test Site. It's just never seemed pertinent to any of the characters I've played as. Might bring my grizzled old Texas Ranger there though, he takes a shine to Novac.

I could never:

Kill Mr.House, such a waste of knowledge, all to be lost forever.
Kill/Disagree with JG, too much of a badass ( The time for talk has passed, now the Lord's work must be done.)
Evacuate Zion
Kill Dog/God
Piss off Christine
Not kill Mortimer, I need his Tophat
Not kill Benny in a way that doesn't get me Maria
Help the Powder Gangers, unless if I'm playing as one, I just can't justify it
Let the NCR take the Mojave, it's better for them if they're forced to step back and rethink their plans, removing Oliver and Kimball from office

Well, I'm sure that's one way of going about it. However, even if Caesar was not be able to make a coherent argument against the such a woman, does he really have to? If her status is flying in the face of Legionary ideals, and her behavior is proving too dangerous to his vision, there's nothing stopping him from just putting her on the cross and shutting her up for good. Not to mention a large part about the Legion's MO involves subjugating even those whom willingly serve them, a fact that becomes blatantly apparent the more you learn about them. Better hope she doesn't live long enough to "outlive her usefulness."

Ack! Good point well made. Oh dear, here comes the fridge horror. D: I've condemned her to death!!

I'd hope, at the very least, that it'd provoke a lot of the citizens to start questioning the higher up logic. They're told time and time again that women are inferior, and then the most effective agent the Legion's had comes along, womb and all, makes her stamp on history, and then mysteriously disappears. That smacks of conspiracy, I can't imagine they wouldn't start thinking. Distrusting, hopefully! The savvy ol' courier's certainly done enough for gender representation to make her equivalent to a small army of Emmeline Pankhursts. Not all, but certainly some of the troops would be left with some overwhelmingly positive memories. And that's enough to plant the seed of doubt. Start to tear apart their principles from within, I'd hope.

Even that feels a little uncertain to me, now. There's that seed of doubt. Good eyes, Xetirox!

OH! Also, things I've never been able to do. Massacre Goodsprings is the main one. I started and then had to load a new save. Felt too uncomfortable.

Kill House.
Okay so I might have done it once on a Legion playthrough..... :whistling:

Support the NCR all the way through at all.

Let the Brotherhood live.

That's where I'm at...

Might do a Brotherhood RP though, just to see what it's like.

- Kill the King
- Hurt any Enclave remnants
- Sell Arcade to slavery
- Let White Gloves revert to cannibalism
- Do anything against the Followers of Apocalypse

These, plus:

-Sabotage the rockets in Come Fly With Me
-Let the Legion blow up the Monorail (even when backing them, it's just too useful)
-Most companion quests (I run solo on pretty much every character, the only companions I've ever kept have been ED-E and Rex)
-Specialized in Melee or Unarmed, save for the achievements (I just don't like those fighting styles)
-Kill Pacer during King's Gambit (even if on a pro-NCR character)

Had a REAL hard time working for the Legion.
Had to create a character vastly different to both myself and the characters I normally play in order to distance myself from the on-screen events. So I had a combat specialist woman with low intelligence/speech/science scores.
And I STILL felt bad about what happened.

Kill House.

I almost ALWAYS kill House. He has to go, and he begs for death rather than being left disconnected. Figure I owe him his last wish.
Tell Gram-Gram to stop taking her medicine at half doses. :sadvaultboy: (BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWW)

Serve Veronica for dinner

Turn Cass over to Juan Baptiste :shakehead:

THESE!
The companions are so well written I'd hate anything bad to happen to them.

i've never done a full house or yes man playthrough. it doesn't go against my "roleplay" or anything it's just never interested me that much

I struggle NOT to do yesman. I hate being told how to treat minor factions.

Kill the King is all can think of.

Oh, not blowing up the Brotherhood in their bunker.

I've never given up Cass to the Van Graffs, or served any companions to the White Glove.

O yes you should really try it, the Brotherhood RP was personally my second favorite.
