I can't believe only one other person has trouble telling Gram-Gram to stop taking medicine at half doses. :cryvaultboy:

Might do a Brotherhood RP though, just to see what it's like.

I did it for a bit, and it was sort of interesting, but I ended up supporting House (yet again) in that play-through and blew them up anyway.

I should try again though, I actually did enjoy my Outcast role-plays in Fallout 3.

Can't say that I have.

I usually wipe out Jacobstown in any case. I consider Lily to be a mercy killing, she's been through alot and deserves some peace.

I normally avoid the power armour - I'll only get it for my companions.

Always torn about that...
We all love our dear granny (if we have any heart at all) but is it better for Lily to keep the half doses, or is it better that she start taking whole doses?
As heart-breaking as the idea of forgetting the last of her human life is, is it better for her to be happy with a health-mind for the next however-many-hundreds-of-years-she-lives?

Okay, I'll bite - How would you roleplay an outcast when that faction refuses to even let you in their compound?
Did you write a 'lets-play' or some such about it?

I've never been able to:

Kill Doc Mitchell
Kill Dean Domino
Kill House (Barring the NCR/Legion/Indie playthroughs I did SOLEY for the trophy)
Kill Joshua Graham or let him 'fall to his demons'

Edit: Silly Tel Prydain, that's why you get the Outcasts to like you then pickpocket the key off Casdin :spotted owl:

Better question is, how do I join the Enclave when that faction shoots the player character on sight. :hubbahubba:

FIrst off, on PC=Mods/and or console commands is the answer to everything. Join the Enclave, join the Outcasts, join Talon Company. Join just about anything.

Thats what I've been using for a good year now. Switching to PC was an excellent decision.

Second off, on console you can do it easy enough as well. If you collect enough technology for them (Outcast Collection agent) they won't shoot at you if you get into Fort Independence. Then all you have to do is pickpocket Casdin's key and your in (or just pick the lock).

The only problem is that without mods (and thus on consoles) they are quite rude to you still and don't switch to their "we like you" dialogue (which Bethedsa forgot to make them change to when you give them enough tech, the dialogue is unused in the GECK). So on a console you just sorta have to ignore them if you want to roleplay.

Cannibalism. I've tried grave robbing a couple of times but always end up going back to a clean save but I've never even tried cannabalism.

Cannibal + Ghastly Scavenger is more funny than useful, it turns Jacobstown, Fiend Territory, and the Repconn test site into feast banquets.

Bah... Spare Benny's life and... Forgive Mr. House.
I could never... ever... Let 'em go. Really. Me? Why me...
Sorry. Nothing personal... PAM!... PAM! PAM!
Cheers!

P.S: That's a Beretta 92FS.

Not tell Lily to take her medicine at full dose
Not help all my other companions
Not use ED-E and Veronica for 90% of my playthroughs
Not help the Bright ghouls at REPCONN
Stay in Zion, leaving it is better to me

Legion. I feel like I'm wasting a play through because I just can't be a bad person :(

Depends on your perspective. I admit I had the same view my first 3 or so playtrhoughs, but it's all about recognizing the good points of the Legion, or playing a character who does. My psychotic NCR-hating [censored] cannot help but side with the Legion because they remind her of her tribe, and more importantly oppose the NCR and BoS. Plus, she's thinking that if the Enclave ever returns, the Legion will fall quickly.

But good points....That's based on culture. I recognize that there is a time for absolute force, and a time for something completely different. Legion has good points if you value efficiency, order, safety, power, and, honestly, equal opportunity. Why else would the Legion extend an offer to the lady Courier other than because they recognize she can get [censored] done? Admittedly, NCR and House are the same in that respect and Yes Man couldn't care less, but still. I have a feeling that if any other woman beat up a half-dozen legionaires and the Legion thought it could get her on it's side, it'd do the same thing.

Course, this is just me ranting waaaayyy past that point when my mind goes to bed, so take this with a lot of salt, and maybe with some of Lt. Andronicus' water.

Wear Veteran Ranger Armor. I can't in good conscience have a character of mine take up the Black Armor having never actually earned it. It's hard, since it's one of the best looking armors in the game, beating even it's non-faction knockoffs in pure BAMF factor.

Same goes for the First Recon beret, too. It and the Black Armor go together so awesomely.

Kill Doc Mitchell.

I never side with the Powder Gangers for that very reason.

Allow House or Legion to rule the Mojave.

I've done just about everything in the name of role-play but I have quite the comprehensive list of what I'd never do again.

No Gods, No Masters Terrorist got ridiculously boring after awhile when every other settlement had to be a target given his overall ethos of "Let no man control you!" firebombing everything. Didn't get him into Lonesome Road though so I've never fired the nuclear missiles anywhere. Even my most diehard NCR or Legion supporter couldn't justify ruining a piece of conquerable territory just for a minor strategic advantage.

Legion playthrough again. Sorry lads, yes I've heard everything Caesar has to say, I've daydreamed and wrote a few short stories in it's honor but the end result just conflicts with "Me" too much to do again.

Independent Vegas playthrough again, NGNM or not. Being a ruler isn't for me, I like to wander. If you don't assume leadership, the end result will essentially be Vegas dying off within the decade.

Work with Veronica again after this last character. I love Felicia Day but I find her obnoxious fan-service characters that seem to be being shoe-horned into every game lately extremely grating.

Evacuate Zion again.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Things I haven't done yet -

Mr. House playthrough. I had a cool sniper-for-hire that was going to complete every quest that didn't make a potential buyer hate me as long as I got paid. Mr. House seemed like a fitting master in the end, I lost my saves since then and just haven't gotten around to it. Was also an excuse to finally use the AMR since it never fit thematically with my other characters.

Still haven't been a big enough man to let Benny leave the Tops.

Things I would never do -

Betray the combat style of a character or go against their individual theme. A cowboy uses cowboy weapons, a scientist uses energy weapons, etc. Unless working specifically for a faction, they'd end a quest in the way that was the most interesting to them, such as an independent scientist installing Primm Slim as sheriff, etc.

Kill Dr. Mobius

Sleep with Beatrice again. D:

Play as female. Never works for me, and I find all the "Hurr hurr I'd rather look at a female's ass" commentary and all the boob-armor and perfect nail mods on the Nexus just hammer my beliefs into my head a little harder. No offense meant.

Hurt Arcade Gannon in any way.

Hand Cass over to the Van Graffs (I have a mod that lets me lie!)

Take Wild Wasteland.

Reactivate HELIOS One as a weapon system.

Harm or belittle Joshua Graham. Been waiting for this character since the design documents of Van Bueuren and I am in no way disappointed with his evolution.

Usually I always play a good boy, so I never will help someone destroy goodspring. There is only one thing I did was bad, was killed Benny. Kill Benny is one those things that everyone should do.

I could never kill Cass. I could never serve a companion at the U-L. I could never sleep with the male prosttute in the game. I could never execute the hostages in Nelson. I could never kill the King (nor Pacer). I could never *not* help the Followers of the Apocalypse.

I can't bring myself to help the Legion, I only play as female. I can't stand their outdated sixist views, makes me want to gift a few dozen grenades to them on a timer or a hair trigger that is activated when the box is opened. Their whole 'woman are inferior!' thing gets on my nerves.

I find it hard to dismiss my companions when I need to, Raul's comment 'I'll just head back to my lonely shank in the middle of nowhere' was cruel.

And I can never bring myself to just inflict random destruction and chaos, it isn't who I am nor my character's nature.

Not having Boone as a companion and ED-E as a support character. I just can't play this game without them around because I love playing with guns so bad. Stealth and Guns FTW.
