Things you'd like to see added to the game

Like so many others, I'm a long-time fan of the Fallout series and I absolutely loved Fallout 4 in all its glory. However, after spending 144 hours running around the Commonwealth I started finding more and more things that just weren't quite as good as they could have been.

Now, I know of course that the good people of Bethesda worked really hard on this game but I also know that they're not perfect and cannot think of everything. Therefore it is up to US, their fans, to help them out with this and provide them with the inspiration to make a great game even greater. So here's my list of things I was hoping to see and/or would love to see in the future either in the form of updates or paid DLC's, divided into section for the sake of convenience.

Crafting

  • Return of the loading bench.

I honestly have no idea why they dropped this much-loved option from New Vegas, especially with the additions of the armor and weapon workbenches. Buying bullets and powder isn't always an option though, so the ability to mix your own gunpowder and cast your own bullets would at least in my opinion be a fantastic addition to the survival aspect. Have it so that you could only make old-fashioned black powder and unjacketed lead bullets in the beginning, and then move on to more advanced propellants and projectiles.

  • Recharging Energy Cells

You can build power plants and such now, so why wouldn't you be able to recharge the cells and batteries that power energy weapons? Of course it wouldn't be easy, but it would be a shame to skip a thing like this when you already have perks like Science! and Nuclear Phycisist that would make sense that they'd apply to it.

  • Full Armor Assembly

The option to assemble, modify and disassemble your full suits of armor at the armor workbench. While you won't hear me complain about the new piece-by-piece style of armor as it is a significant and welcome change from how it was previously, it can get a little tedious to equip and un-equip each and every part every time. It would also enable you to fill in the gaps between the pieces, which always makes me cringe every time I look at my character in third person and see the amount of empty spots with no armor.

  • This Gun is Mine

I got this idea when I saw that you could scrap weapons for parts, which makes sense, but there's no option anywhere to actually build them from scratch. You could buy blueprints in FO3 to build weapons but I always thought they were rather meh, but blueprints would be what you'd need. Imagine being out scavenging and down in someone's basemant you find a safe containing the diagrams for old and classic guns, but just having them isn't enough so you'd need to research them in order to build them. There really isn't a lot of things you can assign your settlers to do except farming and guard duty, so that would be an excellent thing to put the rest on doing for you. Maybe eventually you'd also be able to design your own weapons and develop new mods for pre-existing weapons!

Combat

  • Dual-Wielding

I've seen a lot of valid controversy over this subject already, but the fact stands that you CAN fire a pistol as well as a rifle one-handed, so I see no reason why it shouldn't be possible. It would of course come with some significant drawbacks, such as for example a high STR to hold them steady and DEX to actually be able to point them in the direction you want them to. There are already perks for the use of pistols and rifles both semi- and fully automatic, but I'm thinking that there would also need to be an "Ambidextrous" perk specifically for dual-wielding. Using weapons like the missile launcher and fat man in this manner would be both impractical and unnecessary (not to mention absolutely ludicrous) but the minigun might be possible, provied the correct conditions were met and which brings me to the next point.

  • This Can Only Be Used While in Power Armor

Yup, things that would otherwise be too heavy or just straight-up unwieldy to carry around and use normally is something I've wanted for a long time. A minigun - or for that matter, a flamethrower - modded so that it fits onto and under the arm of the wielder would be fully possible to shoot one-handed while in something that enhances your strength to the degree of power armor. I have a picture showing what it would look like, but to my irritation I can't figure out how to get it on here right now. Another thing would be armor-mounted weapons, like shoulder-mounts and such. It would be absolutely wonderful if it was possible to have a long-range weapon in one hand, even if it's just a pistol, and have a knife or a sword or some other melee weapon in the other. A built-in power fist that you could use instead of the regular pistol-whip would be incredibly awesome!

Aand that's just about what I can think of right now =D

Proprietorship, so you can grant deeds to people/own a house in your settlements instead of it being a commune
