Things you'd like to see in DLC

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 5:10 pm

I never completed main quest yet, so IDK if the Thalmor fall, but I doubt it. I would like see you revisit cyrodil (somewhat changed of course), and finally take down the Thalmor ending in a bloody epic battle within the Imperial City. Have other quest leading up to the battle and side quest. IF possible maybe add little sections of Providences not used in the Elder Scrolls yet, maybe hinting on what to expect in future titles.

So I heard M'aiq say "The falmer being blind has nothing to do with the disappearance of the Dwemer... really..." seems like their hinting at it, I'd love to see the dwemer animunculi invading Skyrim and you have to go underground and find out why.

#1. Ability to join other guilds, like the Silver Hands or the Order of Stendarr.

#2. Horse armor. Poor horsey is always in danger.

#3. Make cooking, smelting, and tanning increase Alchemy & Smithing talents.

Spears. Todd Howard mentioned in an interview that they're unsure as to whether they want to introduce new game-mechanics or expand with the mechanics they already have, so spears to me seem like a new mechanic, and I would love to see their return.

A whole new major town that you can rule and every choice you make will effect and mould the town and its people, some of the coices you could make could be:
-Choose who you want to protect the town (EG: Empire, Stormcloaks or your own city guard)
-Choose to open a mine in your town.
-Choose to let the Silver-Bloods get a cut of your mining profits for more guards to garrison your town.
-Choose to let thugs move into your town for a large sum of gold.
-Choose to form a guild of noble warriors or mercenaries.
And each choice you make has a possitive and negative impact on your town and people. (EG: Choose to let the Empire garrison your town and the people will dislike you but you'll make more money and you'll be safer but if you choose your own city guard every one will like you but you'll make half as much gold and you'll be half as safe)

I think it'd be perfect for the first major DLC.

I disagree on horse armor, I have never and will never use a horse, it's too fun to walk around and simply explore on foot, ur less likely to get attacked and it's easier to hunt wild animals, y use a horse at all?

More factions that are at odds with each other.

Aside from the Stormcloak/Imperial factions, it seems like too many people are getting along. It would be amazing if we could have factions with the tensions and interconnectedness of Fallout: New Vegas in an Elderscrolls game.

Additional skills and perks would be nice, but IMO not necessary. Maybe some perks that aren't skill specific.

NOOO!!! I dont want The Elder Scrols: New Vegas!!! Keep Obsidian away from TES!!!

I swear, if Obsidian make a TES Spinoff, then I am going to stay as far the f*** away from it as I possibly can.

I'd like something like Battlehorn. And then bigger DLCs like Shivering Isles and such.

I want a really great DLC house with crafting stations, instant teleports too all of the holds, and with a real ability to effect how you interact with the game world

Maybe sleeping there would give you a random bonus to a skill

I would also like an adventure in one of the Daedric realms

This, the vanilla homes leave much to be desired.

I would like to see monks added back to the game, with both Hand to Hand skill and unarmored defense skill. It will never happen but playing a monk was the most fun for me in previous TES games and the only gripe I have with Skyrim is the fact that they took that class out of the game.

Id like one more joinable guild and a story centered on invasion from either another province or another continent. Defending towns would be nice as well as having forts built to keep certain areas defended

They're all just joking, because horse armour in Oblivon was such a big fail.
