There are at least 2 or 3 friendly Hagravens in Skyrim. One of them asks for your help to kill another one that betrayed her. They are really gross, but I (uncharacteristically) honored my end of the bargain and didn't kill the old bag.

Those huge stone slabs circle slabs you see all over Skyrim, usually out in the wilderness actually have dragons trapped in them and they slowly open to release them.

If you become a stage four vampire you can feed of your follower and they won't take offense to it.

Manmoths are the best thing to kill to fill up the biggest soul gem besides black gem

Speaking of soul gems. You can do a quest that gives you access to a black gem that is unbreakable.

This is one of my favorites because it's so funny. You can recieve a staff that has the power to change enemy's into things like rabbits and sweetrolls. If you haven't received it yet I advise you go find it now. It's so fun. You can actually change lydia into a sweetroll and eat her. Lol. It's my favorite weapon in the entire game.

There is a special axe that I guess cuts wood faster. I actually saw it once at the very start of the game. I did not pick it up because I had just started the game and I thought I'd see a ton more of these later. I never did and now I forget where I found this.

the axe your referring to, i think is the poachers axe, it also does increased damage to animals.

- In blackreach hit the big lighting dome in the center with a powerful unrelenting force shout, and a dragon will spawn.

Yeah, Mercurio took out a Hagraven in a few seconds.

I didn't like his whining complaint about carrying stuff, and when I'd give him armor to carry he'd always put it on which I guess gimps his magicka. Besides making him look potentially goofy.

Using a certain weapon (exsquisite iron sword) like i have been doing from lv 1 up untill lv 30 will get you some "interesting" remarks from people, mainly guards!

If you complete the DB quest line and upgrade the new place to have a torture chamber you can later speak to the prisoners who will inform you of treasure locations.

THATS LIES!!!!!

this link has all the spells on skyrim and that isnt one

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Skyrim:_Spells

Trust not in the Wikia, for it is new and less complete. Trust in the UESP.net, for it has been around for a long time and is more detailed. Spectral Arrow is the spell in question, SpellID 000ab23d, TomeID 000b3165. The spell was a reward in a quest, but was replaced by "Detect Life."

Probably said before, but equipping a pickeaxe and manually swing at ore veins works WAY faster than pressing A on them.

One of the coolest things I've seen was in one of the jarls missions where you end up having the court mage arrested. (Sorry I don't recall specifics. It's been a while.)
You accompany the jarl's man, who grabs a guard on the way, and makes the arrest. OK, the quest is over. The jarl's man leaves and the all the updating messages
and effects play out You can go on about your business.

Just for the heck of it, I decided to watch what happens next, if anything. The guard takes the offending mage into custody, then takes him to the dungeon.
After crossing the castle through many rooms and going down a couple levels, they arrive at the cells, and the mage is installed in one. IIRC, he says "This isn't over",
or something like that.

Just the fact that they bothered to script that whole thing that 99% of players wouldn't see was impressive. In previous games, they would have just been left there standing,
or walked to a convenient door and disappeared. Makes me wonder how much else is going on 'behind the scenes'.

If this has to do with the murders in Windhelm (I believe that is the quest you are talking about) the court wizard is actually not guilty. If you bring the evidence to him before taking it to the Jarl the quest continues to a point where you will find the actual killer and have to kill him just before he knifes another women in the back in the marketplace. You can actually loot the killer's key and go to his house where there is a chest that contains a confession letter and a bunch of embalming tools. Really great stuff.

You can still complete it even if you've had the Mage arrest. Travel in and out of the city a few times and there will be another murder which will then open up new dialogue options with the Mage in his cell so you can complete the quest. Really good quest! :)

- There is an unmarked cave north of Winterhold College, and east of Septimus Sigmus' cave. When you go to enter, you see that it's called "The Chill." It has a few jail cells and a Frost Atronach inside, but no real notable loot. Weirdly the Atronach did not attack me when I entered, or even after I attacked IT. It just stood there, and let itself get killed. So, imagine my surprise when I left, and was immediately assaulted by FOUR FROST ATRONACHS. And they DID attack me. Sheesh.

- If you select a gold piece and rotate it, the "Dragon" logo of the Empire is on the obverse of the coin.

- Spoilerish: If you pick up the power of "Summon Spectral Assassin," you're able to do just that: Call upon the ghost of an assassin to help you. And get this - The assassin spirit you summon is none other than Lucien LaChance. Even better, if you summon him, and he "survives," he'll follow you until he is "killed." Best yet - If you leave the dungeon with him still by your side and go outside, and you have Shadowmere out there...? HE RECOGNIZES HIS OLD HORSE. "Aaaah, Shadowmere, my old friend." They really did think of everything, it seems.

- There doesn't seem to be any use for the insects in jars. But each cork lid has unique runes/initials scratched into the underside. Hmmm...

- If you get lost looking for word walls, head up to High Hrothgar. The Greybeards will sometimes tell you where to find one you haven't stumbled on yet.

All good stuff.

Without giving too much away is the "Summon Spectral Assassin" obtained through the Dark Brotherhood Quests? I haven't started them yet.

Also I saw something in the official guide about some kind of quest involving the insects in jars but I didn't get a chance to read it. I guess now I will.

Yes. Although, I couldn't tell you at which point exactly, as it's been a bit, and I don't recall specifically. But it's a handy power to have for when you're stuck.

I'd be interested to know what, if anything, you're able to find out. Because I can't seem to puzzle out what they're for.

Might've already been said, but if you have a soul gem that you accidentally filled a soul that was smaller than the gem itself, you can empty the gem by dropping it from your inventory.

May also work on completely full gems, but I'm not sure.

Neat little things you may not have known.

You can pick up bear traps.

You can move an item on the loading screen faster by pressing both thumbsticks in the same direction.

I didn't know either of those.

In the Alchemist shack west of Riften around Ivarstead, there's a jar with a butterfly in it on the shelf.

That's been the only one I've found, but I've heard of many others

- Carriage prices are fixed: 20gold to the 5 Major Hold Capitals, 50gold to the 4 Minor Hold Capitals.
- Carriages do not depart from the 4 Minor Hold Capitals.
- The distinction between Major and Minor Hold Capitals? Major Hold Capitals are enclosed within a wall.
- The Alchemist's Shack makes a good starting base. Bed, table, and the end table next to the bed is safe for storage.

- 9 strikes at an ore vein will deplete it.
- You can rename enchanted items.
- Holding the button while shouting will unleash it's full potential.

You can build your own house using items from your inventory.
