Things you never learned

Post » Tue May 27, 2014 9:21 am

What are some things that you always expected to know when you grew up but ended up not learning? Things that you may have had chances to learn but never took advantage of.

I never learned to play an instrument

Never learned another language

Never learned how to work on a car (extensive repairs)

Never learned carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. home repairs.

I don't really care about the first two, but I sure regret not learning the latter two from my old man.

I was the opposite. I never had the chance to learn stuff until I moved out. Like martial arts and a second language.

How to ride a bike. My sense of balance is not very impressive, except for how bad it is.

I've never had the chance to learn blacksmithing, I've always wanted to make my own sword.
