Things You Never Noticed: F4 Edition

The voice on the Settlement Recruitment Beacon radio broadcast is your character speaking. I didn't get this until I created a female alt and then found that it was a female voice on the beacon, for that character only. Then I listened more closely and realized it was actually her.

Strong calls Mirelurk hatchlings "radroaches". Obviously he's wrong, but not sure if this is a bug (no pun intended) or intentional.

I did not notice that I can select and move the whole custom structure/house by holding the button longer. I ignored this option for 50 levels. It`s a bit buggy though, a couple of items(a table and something else) dissapeared after such moving. But I was happy to discover it, it saves a lot of time.

Recently found out about those two small wooden walls that snap perfectly into the sides of all of those window type walls. Makes my buildings look so much cleaner & just proper.

I just noticed, after like 300 hours, that your character speaks to companion in different manner, depending if you are in stealth mode or not. Maybe obvious, but still it's nice, little detail.

It also changes according to how far away from you they are. Your character shouts to them if they're quite far from you, etc

Didn't know that as well. I'm gonna check out if there are more features like this, because I didn't pay too much attention to it so far :)

I was in my third play through before I noticed the comments Nick makes when the Stranger appears, very nice touch

I didn't know using shift in settlement menu and also I felt very excited to find that all radio broadcasts can be tracked and may lead to loot or some info about the first days of the apocalypse.

The first Red Rocket you discover actually has built in sliding doors in the doorways, you can close with the push of a button. Probably the other Red Rockets too, I assume. I always used to wonder why the only way I could build doors over those doorways was to build another doorway first. And then I accidentally walked into the corner of one of the doorways and a text prompt popped up for me to close the door, lol.

Also next to Moe, the baseball vendor in Diamond City, is a wanted poster on a bulletin board that opens up a raider bounty quest.

Being able to add a door to your house in sanctuary and the one across from it, and inside RR you can also put one on that back room.

I just found this out now, and not sure if it was implemented in 1.3 or whatever but that made RR like 20% more interesting :D
