I like vanilla armors 10x more than modded armors due to the wast amount of lore-breaking and skimpycrap bs they have put together...
I like that the dwemer is lost and I hope they never return

Well, there's me and Emperor Charles as well. But yeah, the Altmeri probably get the most hate from people. Usually folks who have seen Taarie and Endarie and then decided all Altmer are scum.

Ive played Altmer since Daggerfall. A little thing like the Thalmor or a racial tendency towards snobbery is not going to keep me from playing them. :)

Same. I like Heimskr even though he's pro-Stormcloak.

I'm with Merari on the vampire necromage thing. It's really changed how I go about building my characters.

I love the random trash talking that npcs give you as well. A guy tried to tell me I was "interfering with imperial business" one time, but couldn't quite get the last word out as my battleaxe hit him in the face

I like the Dwemer, their architecture, lore, weapons, armour and general badassness. I anxiously await their return, mainly to wipe the smugness off the faces of the Altmer and knock them down a few rungs on the 'mer' hierarchy.

Well, Stormcloaks and their Nord superiority isn't much different TBH. And like Stormcloaks, not all Altmer are Thalmor. Most named Altmer in Skyrim are actually decent people and respected members of the society.

Hold guards.
Aw , stahp it, you!

I personally really like the killcams. I even installed a mod so they'd happen more often.
Lots of hate for it around these parts, though. Don't know why.

I have a feeling I'm the only one who likes the fact that not all women in the game are young and pretty. I like that Uthgerd is weathered and has wrinkles. In general, I like that the game contains both young and old, good-looking and ugly npcs of both genders.

(I do know that I'm not the only one who thinks that elves in general and Dunmer in particular look awesome, but sometimes one might wonder about that, too.)

I also think Dwarven spiders are cute.

And I like the kids. And I like Braith! I think I might be the only one...

I like Heimskr's preaching.

Me too! In first game, he was glitched and Whiterun was very quiet. Later, I realized I prefer it with his ramblings in the background.

I like low level gameplay and items - seems like most people love their epic superheroes of awesomeness with all potion-supported-dual-enchanted dragonplate gear, whereas i prefer to run around as some refugee in rags with an iron dagger for as long as possible.

I often start games on master with permadeath rules (on legendary it's not feasible) because I don't bother having to start over again (live another life mod helps with that, so I don't have to do Helgen over and over again) - 15 hours into a game I start just caring enough so I'm scared of dieing 'cause falling back on an autosave is not an option.

I like Braith too. Though admittedly, if you don't do a certain quest involving her, she'll just come across as a spoiled brat.

I like Yngol Barrow. I wish there were more unusual things like that in Skyrim.

Also, Altmer for life. Haters gonna hate :P

The fact that I'll never ally myself with Isran due to his background with the Vigilants of Stendarr.

Other than that, modded armors. The armor rating goes up when feeding it potions of blood? Nice. Immersive Armors and Weapons? Great. Creative magic? Awesome. Dovahbear? Now, we're talking.

I'll come with more along the way.

Horses can go up and down 70-80 degrees in real life.

Yep, they also launch themselves into space immediately after you dismount them on said incline in real life...

It's funny as hell, just have to make sure you get your feet out of the stirrups in time though.
