Winterhold. Not the College, though I enjoy that too. But Winterhold; the hold, the town. Love it. Yngol Barrow was wonderful, too.

I have a feeling I'm the only one who likes the fact that not all women in the game are young and pretty. I like that Uthgerd is weathered and has wrinkles. In general, I like that the game contains both young and old, good-looking and ugly npcs of both genders.
(I do know that I'm not the only one who thinks that elves in general and Dunmer in particular look awesome, but sometimes one might wonder about that, too.)
You're not the only one! I also like that there's older female voice acting. It's a pleasant change from being a female gamer always hearing a little something extra in the tone of female NPCs, and you just know the actor has assumed they're speaking to a young male player.

I like Flin bottles.
I like the nostalgia they give me. And I like that someone, somewhere decided to put in little Morrowind details like bottles, lanterns and candle holders.

Necromage vampirism.

The way people talk about 'bug abuse' Id think Im the only one enjoying this playstyle and I have come to the conclusion its because people dont understand the fine points of it.
Yes, vampire necromages get a 25% boost to most things the game considers a spell cast on the PC.
But this comes at the cost of also increasing the weaknesses of vampirism by 25%. The need to get level 70 restoration early so necromage can affect most of the playstyle also means that enemies will have far outleveled you in combat stats.
It takes until level 40-50 before a vampire necromage stands a chance in a direct melee fight, before that misdirection, stealth and/ or summoning are practically required.
Putting a lot of points in health and stamina is also a bad idea. Until endgame a vampire necromage has better things to do with his enchantment slots than reducing casting cost and finding any equipment of resist fire is a real joy.

I havent played anything but vampire necromages in about nine months.
I have a reason to care if its day or night, I must manage my health/ stamina and magicka carefully in daylight, I get some nifty boosts offset by some nasty weaknesses. A subtle one is that vampires are considered a seperate race to the game. Gone are people recognising me as Altmer or that one quest where being an Altmer opens up a more stealthy path. A good boost is that a perked up vampire necromage has barely an enemy in the game his illusion spells will not affect, at any level. I have the choice to play a more evil character that preys on sleeping townsfolk or I can be more noble and vow to only feed off outlaws.

I can safely say that vampire necromage makes the game for me, I wouldnt want to play without it.

May I ask a question? I went through a cave where I killed off a lot of vampires and then, for the next 2 rotations, I kept getting messages that I was tired a dawn and thirsty at nightfall. i would have assumed that I contracted vampirism. Oddly, it was cured by a cure disease potion? Any thoughts?

Hide bracers. I think they look awesome. I like the subtle Celtic designs generally, but most of all Hide bracers. http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120905233615/elderscrolls/images/d/d0/Hide_bracers.png

I like the Dwemer, their architecture, lore, weapons, armour and general badassness. I anxiously await their return, mainly to wipe the smugness off the faces of the Altmer and knock them down a few rungs on the 'mer' hierarchy.
Is it okay to do the dweemer levels (Markath & up in the mountains by Winterrun) when you're only 21st? I use a lot of stealth and didn't have too much trouble in the first 3 areas in the one in Markath (the dig).

Level 21 should be more than enough, unless you've levelled up neglecting your combat skills. I'd say above level 10 can manage it. Anyway; I also like the Guard Helmets, they are awesome.

The Morrowind style lanterns added by the Dragon born DLC. After the Morrowind theme, the soft glow of those lanterns are the trigger to my Morrowind addiction. I definitely want to deck out my home[s] with some when I return to Skyrim after all the DLC is done and the modders had some time with their resources.

I love the kill cams.
I deleted a 80 hour character because the kill cams were glitched. That's how much I love kill cams. Especially those from two-handed and destruction magic.
Well, Stormcloaks and their Nord superiority isn't much different TBH. And like Stormcloaks, not all Altmer are Thalmor. Most named Altmer in Skyrim are actually decent people and respected members of the society.
Legate Fasendil, Faralda, Nirya and Niranye are all Altmer who have been shown to be against the Thalmor.
