Things you think you are alone in liking.

Similar premise to the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1452564-things-you-think-youre-alone-in-disliking/ thread, except for the stuff you like.

For me, I like Elisif. She garners a lot of hate in these parts, unjustly so IMO, in part to Bethesda being extremely lazy with her character development (there was none!).

I like some of the bugs that have happened.
A hagraven was stuck in the air and kept trowing fireballs at the sky. (I was on low health so this helped me alot)

I never posted in the other thread because I couldn't think of less than ten things I didn't like in any given minute. Just really hate the direction the game has gone from a role-playing perspective.

Now oddly enough I'm having a terrible time thinking of something I may like that others may dislike. I guess because the game is made for the "I don't want to have to think, push a button, awesome" crowd and the few things I do like, the graphic beauty, the physics, etc. I'm sure are appreciated by others.

I like water flow on the surface. I like finding some small pool of water, like some of those near Whiterun, and just following it all the way to a stream, rivers and then lakes.

Perks respec and infinite perks through 1.9 changes.

In short, I wasn't a big fan of perks in the first place and enjoy all changes that loosen that system up.

Long live versatile heroes, down with forced specialization.

Necromage vampirism.

The way people talk about 'bug abuse' Id think Im the only one enjoying this playstyle and I have come to the conclusion its because people dont understand the fine points of it.
Yes, vampire necromages get a 25% boost to most things the game considers a spell cast on the PC.
But this comes at the cost of also increasing the weaknesses of vampirism by 25%. The need to get level 70 restoration early so necromage can affect most of the playstyle also means that enemies will have far outleveled you in combat stats.
It takes until level 40-50 before a vampire necromage stands a chance in a direct melee fight, before that misdirection, stealth and/ or summoning are practically required.
Putting a lot of points in health and stamina is also a bad idea. Until endgame a vampire necromage has better things to do with his enchantment slots than reducing casting cost and finding any equipment of resist fire is a real joy.

I havent played anything but vampire necromages in about nine months.
I have a reason to care if its day or night, I must manage my health/ stamina and magicka carefully in daylight, I get some nifty boosts offset by some nasty weaknesses. A subtle one is that vampires are considered a seperate race to the game. Gone are people recognising me as Altmer or that one quest where being an Altmer opens up a more stealthy path. A good boost is that a perked up vampire necromage has barely an enemy in the game his illusion spells will not affect, at any level. I have the choice to play a more evil character that preys on sleeping townsfolk or I can be more noble and vow to only feed off outlaws.

I can safely say that vampire necromage makes the game for me, I wouldnt want to play without it.

Imperials have more overall support actually, but Stormcloaks (especially certain unnamed individuals) are very vocal and... passionate... in their opinions that they come out prominently.

Necromage vampirism.

Oh, god yes!

There are plenty of Imperial supporters, it's just the diehard Stormcloaks won't let you not hear about it.

I like Heimskr's preaching. One of my characters gets high off of Mora Tapinella mushrooms and listens to Heimsker at least one a week.

Dragon riding. Sure, you can't use it for travelling as everyone expected, but it's a pretty sweet combat mechanic.

Just the Altmer race in general.

I feel alone in liking them :<

I also enjoy utilizing Vampire's Seduction. I don't care if powers are reduced. When I first installed Dawnguard and discovered this new animation, I about did a happy dance all around, chanting "THIS PLEASES ME, BETHESDA."

Well, there's me and Emperor Charles as well. But yeah, the Altmeri probably get the most hate from people. Usually folks who have seen Taarie and Endarie and then decided all Altmer are scum.

I like that pyromaniac Altmer in Solitude. He makes me laugh.

"You and me. We're the only ones around here who aren't complete fools," he says, sleeping with a lit torch in his hand.

I am a big stormcloak supporter but I like altmer. I only hate thalmor and thalmor spies of any race.
I am playing as an altmer on oblivion.
