Usability without Steam, and without dependence upon having the DVD in the drive;(just like FO3).

*A GoG release would be superb.

Nothing specifics from FO3. You know how a new BGS game draws you in and consumes your free time for the next few weeks, months, years? That's what I want.

Destroyed beauty.

All sorts of ruins of the old world that manage to lend the Capital Wasteland a type of beauty through art direction that I still think hasn't been topped. Fallout 4's looking pretty damn close, much better for what I want than the natural environments of New Vegas. Have to wait and see for myself in the end though, and its almost a week away.

An old Tunnel Snakes jacket hung on a cross that is worshiped by crazy tribals.

Emotional context, like Fallout 3 had, areas that tell a story without needing to say a word or much of anything. Areas that are pure emotion and can spark the imagination.

Loved that in Fallout 3

A lack of Albino Scorpion. [censored] Broken Steel DLC. Are albino scorpions even a thing in real life?

Remnants of the Enclave from Fallout 3, after getting their asses kicked for a second time they would go to Boston to try and seize the insitute's technology for their own nefarious designs.

I want to run into Dr. Li again, and maybe some of the Mercenaries.

I love traps.. I love discovering them (*boom* ouch!) and then learning how to disarm them or avoid them. I hope they've designed a bunch of new types of traps... also hope they're a bit deadlier than in past games. While they are a little bit deadly at early levels you always had the problem that by later levels you could just walk through them and take very little damage.

I would love to have the Metro return in FO4. The Tesla Enclave PA. The Chinese Assault Rifle. The Shishkebab. This gun:

Just because it's awesome.

I remember once that Marty Stouffer found (and filmed!) a blue lobster. It was not a mutant, it was side effect of a dietary problem.

As long as it isn't Fallout 3s game engine bugs, I don't care what returns.
