Things you will do before right before the game : V

Ok so i searched the forum and didn't find any topic that was as generalized as this one is. Name 1-3 things you will be doing before 11/11/11, or even the day your getting the game. Sort of in preperation for this amazing game that will be sent down from the heavens in the form of a lightning strick that will crash into our minds.

Also sorry if this has been posted, i didn't see this, and just wanted to know what you all will be doing.

I know what i'm doing, and they are as followed...

1. Break up with my girl friend.

2. Order A LOT of chinese food.

3. Putting Led Zeppelin on my speakers.

This will ensure i recieve maximum gameplay value.

Play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (if it's out) till a day after release, because at LoveFilm you get new releases 1 day after release.

Play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (if it's out) till a day after release, because at LoveFilm you get new releases 1 day after release.

Honestly i can't buy another Call of Duty game. Is LoveFilm like a game store?

It's like Blockbuster, you can buy and rent games and films and you can keep the movie/game for as long as you want but you have to pay the monthly fee. BTW, what's wrong with Call of Duty? I agree, BO was terrible but the MW series is good and fun IMO.

After COD 4 it was never the same. And i am not asuming you are one of these people, but a lot of those online kids really have some rage pent up inside of them. After Modern Warfare 2 i was done because it was not as good and people just ruined it for me. Also it's just a shooter, people give it too much credit. If its good though let me know!

The only game i am thinking about, and will be thinking about until its release, is Skyrim

Start the setup on my SSD.

Download a no CD crack (no CD cracks are legal if you own the game, I like to play without the disk noise)

Go down to the shop, buy two red bulls (thank god 11.11.11 is a friday, perfect).

Click finish.

Copy over the crack.

Start the game.

Put the graphics to max.

Plug in earphones (I have pluggy ones).

PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

And then at the end of the week, go on tesnexus!

2. November 10 - buy large quantities of mac n cheese, PBJ fixings, juice boxes, etc.

3. November 14 - Actually start playing the game since they will all be in school. (Additional note: make sure husband does NOT take vacation time during this week so I will not be interrupted.)

I've never played a game on maxed graphics. (In fact, "medium" graphics has been limited to only a few titles. Normally, it's something in the "low" range.) :sadvaultboy:

soft drinks ready for the marathon...
get a new gpu in october...was thinking of the gtx 570 but i still have to wait and see what come out by then
maybe a new monitor for hd graphics...

all i know is that it's gonna be massive...

I'm going to load up Oblivion, walk to the top edge of Cyrodiil, look off into Skyrim and say something cheesy like "...and this is the end of our story". Then, I'll take it out and put in Skyrim.
