Things you wish skyrim did have, but chances are, won't be c

+ Visuals That Take Pc Hardware Into Consideration.

+ Random Loot Being Integrated In some Form, Enchanted items being something random (but not removing self enchanting either, rather finding some way to make the two co-exist without balance distruption - I can think of 50 ways of balancing these two right now)

+ A bigger gameworld (I know that todd said roughly the same size, but he might as well have said "pickle stalker")

+ Emotional Affecting, Npc Acting, and involvement. (something most elder scroll games lack more than other games)

+ The magic system being seriously deep.

+ Not cutting back on, and most probably, adding more, lasting power to the game. Small quests, maybe even items that can be collected, dynamic moments.

+ The modding Tools being something worthy of 2011/2012 (Plus no 4gb limit in memory usage for playing the game with mods)

+ And Entirely new system in terms of mod reading, not mod making, but mod installation and compatibility within itself to a wider extent than oblivion at least.

+ Except for things skyrim replaces or repairs, nothing removed. (after gothic iv and two worlds 2 not having the main island at all, you can maybe understand my thinking here)

+Every Single Guild Being as, if not more involving than the dark brotherhood from oblivion.

The Havok animation system also doing more impressive things with deaths (think gta4's euphoria only slightly dumbed down to save cpu time)

+ The dlc not being petty, but rather using "shivering isles" as a benchmark. (I, and many others will be happy to pay a lot more if the content adds to the worlds scope, rather than just adds a quest here, or .... horse armour there)

+ About 200,000 other things once I get more information about the game.

A variation of this thread has been done before in the form of "wishlist" Yes I understand this. However, at least I do understand this. And I did add a slight twist to it.

fully developed companions.

I second that. I want a few character with very deep background story and quest line like the ones in the Oblivion mods.

One or two expansions on the scale of Tribunal, Bloodmoon and Shivering Isles, rather than only DLC, even if it's like point Lookout.

Digitigrade animations for Khajiit and Argonians.

Werewolves, or some other form of werecreature, that the player can become.

A PC oriented interface on the PC version.

Seperate pauldrons and left and right gloves, like in Morrowind.

There's a few things I'd like to see in Skyrim, but don't really expect to, I'm not going to waste time with things like spears which have already been confirmed to be absent. After all, the topic is about things you want to see in Skyrim, but probably won't, not things you want to see in Skyrim, but we already know will not be in it.

Kind of small but I wish there was some way to adjust the time on the console version.

Like if I want the days and nights to last longer or whatever.

I would actually like for a game that had a very complexed magic system. Nothing that takes a flow chart to figure out, but something that is easy to use for everyone for the sake of everyone using it. But those that want to dedicate time and research could learn unlock hidden secrects about magic and have more control over every aspect of it. When Todd did that interview, or well sort of a Q&A, I really liked what he had to say about the new magic system, but I still feel it could be a lot more deep.

Very complex dialogue and many lines that appear depending on speechcraft skill, like in Fallout.

It always comes back to horse armor... seriously. It wasn't that big of a deal. I actually liked the addition personally. I still believe BGS has the best DLC out of any game on the market, period.

I would personally want:

- More interactive and realistic combat (think far beyond Mirror's Edge and Dark Messiah)

- Visible damage and overall degradation of one's armor and weapons over time (Doesn't have to be quick, but when one hits you in a certain place, it should leave a mark.)

- Exploration using ships and possibly other forms of transportation. Not just a loading screen.

Many other ideas, but these are the only ones that come to mind currently.

I like the idea on creating weapons.
I would like money to be really hard to come by. Like on the level of mmorpgs. Maybe we'll get this with the addition of jobs.
I want the option to buy more houses/businesses. Maybe something like Fable 3 has, but obviously much more mature and done better.
Better animations for 3rd person.
I'd like to be able to block while duel wielding weapons, instead of having to use a shield. Maybe have the weapon degrade much faster with this option.

If I started listing everything it would probably start sounding like Dwarf Fortress with Skyrim graphics.

huge item diversity, what we had in oblivion was piss poor

difference between male and female stats, as in: females cant get their strength as high as males and males cant get their int/wis as high as females

an attribute that caps the lvl of another attribute, example: if your strength is 100 your agility can only go up to 70 and vice versa

headshots (by arrows)

OXM mentioned the Bard's college. I really hope there is a fully developed questline to go with it. And while we are on the subject, mutually exclusive guilds, FO:NV did this sort of thing ok, want to do mage, warrior and thief playthroughs with different stories.
