looks like some sort of spider armor on a wood elf (big ole floppy ears), from the name and from closer inspection of the pic. Maybe bethesda went back to an idea from morrowind and you can make armor from the creatures you kill or materials you find? (that would be a good feature, and this is supported by the appearance of the smithing skill)
