Look at these side by side.

They certainly have the same frown, but it's difficult to say for absolutely sure because of the mask. I'd say it's a possibility though.

Do you think one of those is an ice vampire?

Yes, I do.

I'm sold. The mouth and nose are exactly the same. Slight variation in the ears, but they are similar enough to safely assume they're the same creature.

Now we just need to figure out what it is...

one thing your forgetting me lad orcs are elves i sense our man vsions is in charge of the elven races

Hmmm, perhaps this thread piqued his interest because it was a picture of an elf that he himself created- which would in turn back up my Wood Elf proposition! :)

They are the same creature for sure. Same mouth, same ears, same distinct nose. Doesn't help us much, though, besides ruling out already obviously wrong answers.

Again, the "spider hero" label belongs to a different screenshot. Its also unlikely that it is a dragon priest, since those were Nords according to the articles.

OK, here is where we are at this point in our speculation:

theories espoused by several people [ruled out]
- no Argonian
- no goblin
- no "spider hero"

theories proposed by only one person [possible]
- scamp (was it 1 person or several people who said it was a scamp?)
- Dragon Priest
- wood elf
- ice vampire
- orc's grandmother

any more I am missing?

They do look the same, but it doesn't change the fact that we have no idea what either picture is. :(

Hmm... the "man" behind the Iron Mask?

TBH, looks like a freaking DEATHCLAW to me!

The head is extremely similar to an Atronach

That is very interesting, and it immediately makes me strongly doubt that my Wood Elf theory is correct. It now appears that the crazy, glowing, green-eyed mask wearing chap is the same creature as the other picture.

According to the articles:

* A dungeon described as "Bleak Falls Barrow" is inhabited by Draugr--undead Nord warriors. Players can expect to encounter a ghostly dragon priest and fight a giant Frostbite Spider. The dungeon has been described by Bethesda as "terrifying."

I wouldn't describe that as ghostly, but sure. Still, the dragon priests are supposed to be Nords, and that thing is clearly not.

This makes me wonder if anything in the series has crazy ears that aren't pointed, cause pointed ears are seeming to be the norm these days.
