Did multiple people actually see this under screenshots at one time, or was it just the OP? It seems a little odd that concept art would randomly be put on the site for a short period of time, then taken down.

The pic was up for like two hours, then removed. Everyone in the first two threads saw it.

I saw it myself. I think it was just mistakenly put up. When you clicked on the thumbnail the black image screen would come up and start loading the image, but it would never finish. If you click the arrow to the other side all of the screenshots loaded correctly.

Yes. It was probably a mistake, judging from the size of the images.

Also, Vsions was here earlier and very obviously didn't deny they were Skyrim images, and he could have done so easily.

Yep. It was up for several hours, and is still on http://elderscrolls.com/assets/images/to_delete/media/thumb1.png. It being visible appears to have been an error in the code.

I bet someone at BGS thought it would be funny to throw up concept art for a short period of time and see if anyone notices. Now the entire community is hyperventilating trying to figure out what it is. For all we know, it might not be anything that will actually appear in the game, as things are constantly in flux at this point in development.

I still maintain my theory that it's a new or a revamped ATRONACH.

Not that bad of a theory...definately similar in design to a flame astronach..new creature "dread astronach?" the lore doesnt support it though...

This is very likely and I believe it is right but out of the ideas floating around other then this I believe it is most likely a scamp or a vampire.
