I think I found another dirty easter egg... sort of

Post » Fri May 08, 2015 9:14 pm

My Nord Stormcloak just bought and partly furnished Hjerim in Windhelm (kitchen, child's bedroom and main bedroom), and upstairs in the main bedroom, I found one of those small circular side tables. On it was a Potion of Vigor, some leather strips and a flute.

I guess worship of Dibella isn't restricted to the Bunkhouse...

Those wacky Bethesda devs. What'll they think of next? :D

My mind must be innocent still because I hadn't connected the dots until just now.

Um. I must be thick or something. I still don't connect. Strips for tying up I guess. The potion, well ok, staying power I guess, but the flute? Where does that figure in 'Dirty' goings on and why Dibella (goddess of love or is that mara) yeah I'm a bit confused there!

Some people are just better at spotting the pervy stuff.

"This one time, at band camp..."

EDIT: Dibella is the Imperial goddess of beauty and sixuality. Mara is the goddess of romantic love, compassion and marriage.

Hmmm. Let's see if I get banned for this

A flute with some leather strips might suggest a strap-on contraption, enabling a female practitioner of Dibellan arts to... ahem... assume the role of a penetrating partner in both a heterosixual and a homosixual relationship.

There.

Oh my gosh that’s hilarious. My character who lives at Hjerim has a stash of toys behind the headboard (thanks to the dev who placed the bed out from the wall a little), but I completely missed the table of housewarming gifts. :D

Don't forget how in the hag's cure you have to deliver a fortify stamina potion, and one of the alchemists(I think it was frida from dawnstar but not sure) that says how stamina potions are popular with young men.

That's not what I was thinking of. I was thinking of the flute as a handheld device.

I'm pretty sure there were some guests on the Howard Stern Show back in the day that could make it toot like that.

Not that, either, but I like your style :D

Like Haelga's horker tusk, minus the leather strips.

I have never built a single house (it is not in my role play style...) but it seems that I should do so... I hunt easter eggs in every game

Disgusting!

But not as disgusting as finding a potion of stamina, or strength in a corner with a stool, a book, and a bucket.

I just updated the TVTropes main article on Skyrim so I could add my discovery - plus a few other bits - to the section on Getting Crap Past The Radar.

I still don't get it. What happens if they are just practicing the flute or something?

I'll look around for one, can't remember any specific places.

Edit: In Fort Greymoor, by the secret basemant passage, there's a stool and a bucket. Maybe something else I think I already looted the fort.
