I played the game for 15 hours without issue before the last patch.

Then it crashed about every 5-10 minutes after the patch.

Today I realized the game is crashing every time an enemy shoots at me. I can shoot at the enemies that don't have guns without problem.

They can shoot other enemies and it'll be fine as I witnessed an enemy shooting at a deathclaw with no issue, but once I'm targeted and shot at? Crash!

The weapon debris option is set to off.

So if you're having frequent "random" crashes, check if you're being shot at when it occurs.

Well, that's a not very fine solution!

So you suggest we should go out of the line of fire for the game not to crash! lol

Any programs installed after the 1.3 patch? (or anything updated)

It's crashing every five or ten minutes for me even when there are no enemies around - just exploring buildings. Like you, it just started with the new patch.

It turned out to be a bad clothes mod. Removing it eliminated all my new crashes. (Banging head on desk.)

FWIW, the first rules of troubleshooting, which I failed to remember, are to revert to pristine ini files and remove all mods. If crashes stop, add things back one at a time until you find the culprit.
