Okay, posted a topic on dogmeat and got good replies so figured id try this one. Before broken steel i was asked to sacrifice myself for the wasteland. said [censored] no and send the paladin to do it. however, jericho got stuck in the chamber before the control, where the door closes. I didnt really care, now im woken up and can't find him. dont really mind, except that he is still taking up my companion slot. hes not at the bar his house or the citadel. dunno what to do besides kill dogmeat for another slot just to get charon. please help i dont care if hes dead but i need that slot

After a week most companions will return to their sort of base place. If you wait a week you might get a message saying that jericho has returned to megaton. Then you can go and get him. If not then you'll have to kill dogmeat.
